IDEAS FOR YOUR NICHE, READ PARAGRAPH 3
Thanks Adriana,
Perfect answer whilst not giving me an “answer”. Over the years I have behaved at VL3 thinking very well and perhaps I’m finding it easier to “try” and avoid it rather then work with it. I too have experienced lower levels of thinking lately, namely 2 as I have been pushing myself out of my comfort zone and found myself utilising my newly accepted VL4 thinking to create a formal family meeting with my parents and brother so as getting the support I feel like I need. I grew up with that old belief of scarcity in money as my parents always said how hard they had it and had to scrape to live. I am up to chapter 9 in the Values book and recently realised the impact of social media amongst other things in the environment having the ability to send values thinking backwards.
I have recently and continuing a journey with a business owner in which I have experienced some profound outcomes. Letting go of fear and he realises that the defence force controlled him with fear also that he had been utilising these bully tactics within his own business, and then as we let go of guilt the realisation he had that the church had controlled him with guilt and also how he was using this with his employees. The following week had him questioning the “big man” as he calls him, and to the point he realised he was equal to god and could stand next to him rather then hold onto his leg like a scared little boy. Such good results with this business owner and I look forward to sharing a testimony video from him and also the continued growth within his business. In his words “Due to the work I have done with you I am now thinking 5 years ahead of where I thought I would be and because of this the business is growing quicker then anticipated”
I sat down the other day and wrote down all the jobs that I had, what went well with each of them, what stood out that I was continuously getting good results in. Namely my personal skills and how I am able to relate to people, the fact I have always been reliable in all these positioned while accelerating myself within the business, for example I was in a hospitality job for 12 months at the age of 18 before i was duty and gaming manager also doing rosters, running the bar and coordinating the kitchen. When I started my electrical trade which is normally 4 years long, I had it completed and signed off in 3, my 4th year consisted of taking a business in a new direction from domestic only to commercial and during this process I ran crews of up to 6 on commercial jobs when I “should” have still been an apprentice, so I know i get the job done and get the results. RELIABLE, RELATABLE and GETS THE JOB DONE. It’s the relatable bit that has now got me chunking down and looking at how I can create a group training for businesses, allowing them to communicate their message, with each other and with clients in a more effective way for all. I have plenty of stories where I have done this without consciously thinking about it in the past so it is easier for me to now break this into a process and tell a story or 3 while I present it. I believe this is one of the key reasons to use what we know and who we are, so when we are in the moment we can tell a metaphor without having to think too much at all.
I look forward to your valuable feedback on this Adriana. Thanks so much for this forum, It is true, we will all make it…. some may have more to work on and work through, however the more we work on the stronger we build ourselves, consistent consistent consistent with focus focus focus.
