ParticipantHi all. I loved and fully agree with Adriana’s points. There is no need to fall into a binary option or between family business or coaching/trainings. I would just add to be patient. I suggest you to develop a plan with long term, medium term and short term goals. Make it fully compatible with the family business and time for yourself. You are young, there is no need to rush at all. And coaching business has no expiration time…and make sure you have fun and enjoy the process, stay in the present and live your current life fully, not too much in your head. And dig and work in the things you still have pending: You use a lot of keywords when you express, “I need”, “I should”,”I’ll try”…
You will do great Adam, just be patient 🙂 -

ParticipantFor what I have researched and study as well, leaky gut may be directly related to Autism and other mental symptomatology as well.

ParticipantRight time, right place. How do we know it is the appropriate time to bring our child to Practitioner? I would love to bring my older son Sebastian to the July Practitioner. He will be off school and starting his vacations. And it will be so helpful for him to learn this techniques and specially with his anxiety features. And at the same time, I acknowledge that I cannot impose anything to him, that I need to spark the interest to attend to come from him somehow. Getting him engaged and see the value of it for his life, having better relationships with his friends. Learning tools to perform better, etc. I would love to hear ideas of how to “sell it” better to him so he wants to do it. Thanks.

ParticipantHi Linda how are you. Great to read that you are taking your son together with you in this journey. I am thinking in bringing my older son Sebastian, age 14, to Prac this year. And I need to convince him. It would be so helpful for him to attend and get all the tools and being able to control his anxiety. Do you think it would be possible for your son to talk with mine about his experience? how old is him? it would be very helpful for him to hear it from another kid perspective.

ParticipantI agree. In my opinion, the best way to live is to be fully accountable and responsible for our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, for the life we live. Pretend as if everything is under our power of creation and be fully at cause. And, at the same time, acknowledge and surrender to the things that are not under our control (maybe created by God if toy are a believer or by the Universe) and accept the notion that everything happens for a reason. Always ask yourself from any experience, specially the bad ones, what is it that I have to learn that this is happening? Remember, there is no failure, just feedbacK!

ParticipantAdam,
I did struggle a lot with not having or finding my purpose in this life, a long term goal, trying to get a rational and conscious answer to that deep question. Some precise path or plan or goal for the rest of my life.
And all struggles ended when I realized that having that answer now is not needed. That I can wait for it to manifest at the right time at the right place.
So what to do in the meantime? I have the goal to learn, grow and evolve everyday to become a better person, man and father. That’s my main focus and the best way to be prepared to when I am ready and discover my “call” or purpose.
And for me it is key to make sure to work and keep a healthy balance in all four planes of existence – spiritual, mental, emotional and physical. And making sure I am also enjoying the process, being present, more aware and conscious.
Best
Alejandro

ParticipantI think the key Adam is flexibility and adaptability. As you said, and I agree, in my 48 years of age I have not seen such an open tree of possibilities for the future. The amount of uncertainty is huge. So even recognizing that is key to have goals and focus on what we want, it is also key to have those goals continuously updated with the new information that becomes available. Make sure to keep learning, growing and evolving on a daily basis and be very flexible and adaptive with the longer term goals and objectives as the world we are used to is changing at an incredible fast pace.

ParticipantHello Sadhna nice to meet you!
I got to NLP in search for improving my communication skills as usually what I thought, what I said and what the other person heard were three completely different things ?.
Little did I know that attending to these trainings will completely change my life and give me the answers I was long looking for and the tools to create the life I want. It has been a great journey in the last three years and happy to share the future of it with you! -

ParticipantI fully agree with all your comments, specially the fact that we cannot impose to them our learnings or mow.
And at the same time I am very strong in the opinion that cannot be all free will, specially with smaller kids. Children need to have a clear set of rules and boundaries. Know what are the expectations. And also clear consequences for the breaches. And then independence in doing things inside the parameters agreed. Children will test you as is in their nature and it’s very important to enforce the be boundaries and be consistent. I love that phrase that best defines our role as parents and also applies to our learnings in TJC: we need to teach them to fish not go fishing for them. Always be there to support them, guide them, model for them. And develop their self-sufficiency. -

ParticipantFully agree, you receive back from the universe what you are giving, by helping others you help and heal yourself; everything happens for a reason, there is a reason that person became your client and is looking for your help at this moment; always do your best, you don’t need to be perfect to help others. And regarding NLP, TLT, just follow the scripts, they work. Even if not done perfectly. there is a magic in them that makes them work. I have seen it many times attending the trainings where we students are learning and not always follow the scripts exactly and the techniques in the exercises work anyway!
