ParticipantI too love paradox. I love the thought of creating a practice of “holding your consciousness permanently in the paradoxical frame of mind which can be compared to position 3 in Perceptial Positions technique”. I feel sharing this will help many of my clients.

ParticipantUnfortunately i cannot make that time. Look forward to the transcript.
Question:
Similar to Adams question….
How do you choose a direction to take? And when to realise it is or isn’t realistic. I have gone down a few paths (breakthrough coaching, seminars, trainings) and gone full circle and am back to where I started, focussing on my other business and using my NLP training as an adjunct to assist it now rather than as an entity of its own. Only problem is it is not as profitable. I can’t seem to find “my thing” that perhaps combines both as well as making good $. I loved doing scyf type seminars, but found them hit and miss with numbers. How do you deal with a client that is really dissociated, disconnected and finds tlt really difficult to do? (not following instructions)
many thanx

ParticipantI have not been participating in the forum of late. And have not thought it appropriate to share until this thread.
Prior to my first prac I went off my antidepressants again. I previously went off them following MP and resumed on doctors recommendation after a couple of SEEs.
My mental health has declined again and I put it down to yet another SEE and ongoing grief combined with having been running flat out on cortisol for several months.
This article reminds me that I had also picked up a paracite whilst in Vietnam a few months ago. I will do more research and see what I find out.
Thanx for this x

ParticipantI have not done Hypnosis weekends, but have done a few scyf type seminars. I got my first prac participant from one. 🙂
What about 90 minute intros Adriana? I did one following the suggestion in the manual. It seemed to go ok, some interest in scyf but no sign ups. I suspect with my audience I would have been better doing a demo of TLT releasing anger on single event and/or like to dislike getting rid of a food addiction. What is your advice?

ParticipantMy second prac was heaps easier!!! I still only had one participant though. She loved it and had a massive transformation.
This weekend I ran another SCYF seminar which I love doing.
I have been focussing a lot of time on social media marketing and am finding the rewards dont justify the time invested. Very frustrating. Need to reevaluate. -

Participant7. Drawing false conclusions
eg. If you were that good at what you do, your seminars and trainings would be full. How are people supposed to know how good I am at what I do before they do a seminar or training with me?
eg.You will never be successful, because you don’t know how to market yourself.
What does success mean to you? I know how to get results for people. That is success for me.
8. True for Parts, True for whole.
eg.You haven’t sold me into your course, so you obviously don’t know NLP very well.I haven’t sold you yet because you haven’t asked me the one question that will have you sold into the right program for you.
OR I haven’t sold you yet as you haven’t yet sold me that you are willing to do what it takes to learn NLP well.
OR NLP cannot make you do anything. No matter how thorough my knowledge of NLP, and how much I think it will benefit you, I am not going to make you do anything you are not willing to do for yourself.

ParticipantThere is no evidence that NLP works.
No evidence? Really? What sort of evidence do you require? There is no science behind Time Line Therapy(R).
Time Line Therapy is a form of hypnosis. It guides your unconscious mind to let go of unconscious negative emotions and limiting decisions and to get conscious positive learnings for your future. Wouldn’t it be great to release all the negative things that have held you back in the past and have new resources to apply in your future? What is holding you back from what you are committed to? Would you like so easily and effortlessly get beyond those past limitations? And be free to start taking action toward your goals? -

Participanti don’t remember the words Adriana. i have found some success advertising horse events. they are tangible i guess. the whole social media thing is so controlling. i am happy to give up the idea that it may bring nlp clients… clearly it doesnt.
