ParticipantAs I look at Unique Selling Proposition, I see two arenas to do this work. The first is in my individual trainings (community based), and the second is corporate.
Here is the USP for my individual trainings. I”m sure there is more work to do, so this is a first pass:
Individual Trainings
– I’m a physician therefore I can bring an additional credibility to my trainings and more deeply explain the science in this technology (and this makes me attractive to other healthcare professionals)
– I am a female trainer. This is a male dominated space, and female trainers bring a different energy to the training and coaching
– I am African American –I bring diversity to a space that historically has not had it.
o The fact is People of color want personal transformation too. And they want to see trainers that looks like them.
o As a black female, I can relate to many of the experiences, concerns, objections, and relevant applications that NLP can bring in our community. As well, the metaphors and examples that I bring will be much more relatable
– My trainings are small and intimate with a “retreat” feel to them. I want my students to feel like they are in community, and keeping the trainings small and intimate not only allows them to bond, but also allows me to give them more attention
– Smaller trainings also allow for more discussion of practical application in various areas of life, career, and business
– I offer 3 months of free support beyond the trainings in group coaching form. This allows them to go out into the world, practically apply and come back and ask questions, share wins and experiences in the community. It also builds the community.I”m still working on the Corporate USP, but this is what I have so far. This is specifically for Corporate Diversity/Equity work focused on supporting Black and Brown Employee Networks.
– I’m a physician therefore there is instant credibility in this work. I can relay science of this technology and it’s practical application in the industry. (Similar to above)
– I have a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion certification, and have been providing corporate anti-racism trainings for the last 2 years. This combined with my expertise in Neurolinguistic Programming and my medical background gives me an especially unique listening and perspective in this space that has not yet been explored.
– The work I do is trauma informed, I am able to utilize the skills of NLP (in coaching and mediation) to help employees of color heal and resolve negative emotions resulting from racially traumatic or harmful experiences that lead to conflict and ultimately high turnover in the organization.I welcome feedback.

ParticipantI finally got around to doing this one.
I found that in doing this work, that not alot of limiting decisions came up. I had previously done work on these when I was just starting. I will be sure to be on the look out for anything that pops up. Here was my overview assessment of the competition from this context. I’m sure I could go deeper into to their competitive edge (and I will).Richard Bandler, John Grinder, and Robert Dilts and Tad James are the original NLP OG’s – legends
– Because they are known as the founders, they are regarded as the premium offering
– Tad James not only created TLT, but has dominated the NLP training industry for decades. His name speaks for itselfAdriana is the heiress to the Tad James throne
– She has the experience AND as a female brings versatility to a space that was previously dominated by men.
– Marketing team and savvy
– Established business and full team and tons of successful graduates
– She has the whole machine put together working seamlesslyTony Robbins
– Has the name and the million dollar empire
– The name
– Thousands of graduates from his trainingsREFRAMING MY COMPETITION
WHAT I HAVE
– I am one of the few Black Female Trainers and I’m focusing on communities of color – I’m a unicorn in that aspect
– I am relatable to my target market, and can speak to THEIR specific wants, needs, and desires
– I have a trademark for Mind ReMapping
– I have creativity and flexibility to bring this to untapped spaces
– I have created flexible training options for different needs of potential students
– I keep my trainings relatively small and intimate for more personalized attention
– I have business, marketing, and social media Savvy and I have a loyal following of not only potential students but other referral sources in my professional and social circles that even if they are not ready to do the training yet, are sending people to me who they come across who are interested
– I am a physician and that gives me another level of credibility -

ParticipantI’m so glad I assisted in the July Practitioner training. I’m looking forward even more to my September training.
As I’m thinking about my November training, I’m now thinking of offering it virtually (due to COVID kicking up again).
I’m also looking at creating a training similar to my longitudinal training with a live GRADUATE weekend component. One thing that worked really well with my last class is that I ended up having a graduate skills weekend. They had already gone through the training virtually, but I wanted them to see, do, and feel the techniques live and in person. They loved it. It has given me new options for the future should I choose to do a training like this again (which I’m considering as an option).
For now, I’m focusing on September. After that is complete, I will re-evaluate my options for delivery for November and beyond. I honestly like having a couple of options to deliver for different personality types.

ParticipantI’m completing my first virtual NLP Practitioner training the end of June. I had 10 students. I ran it slightly different than usual (I made it a longitudinal 6 month program rather than an intensive 8 day). I taught weekly for 2 hours during this time and was able to get through all of the material. For a couple of techniques I had a couple of friends come to my home and be demo subjects (for most others I used the class to demo virtually). I was surprised at how effective it was. I gave them specific homework each week to go out and practice the technique of the week after each class at the end. They are to submit videos as part of their final exam (along with the written). I know it is a non-traditional way to teach, and I was being flexible for the circumstances and the market (and I started prior to starting the MT program).
I learned SO MUCH from this experience AND I’m looking forward to my next training which is September 15-22nd (live and in person, yay).
I have 1 registered, a couple who are getting their money together for a registration this month. My goal is 10 (I put it in my future time line). From the first training, I really get the world of staying on a time line (even with weekly trainings). I got comfortable with my metaphors, answering questions, and quite frankly preparing each week and teaching deepened my own awareness and comfort with the techniques. I noticed that as a result of teaching I expanded my own use of techniques I had somewhat gravitated away from (because of my coaching niche).
But I found other areas to use them (like with my son, my sisters, and my mother). This use made for more examples for the class.
I’m re-organizing now for September as I understand it’s going to be a whole different animal to do the training in 8 days. Looking forward to the challenge!

ParticipantGina,
I love these examples!
I’m going to keep playing with them to give them my voice a bit more, AND you did a great job of infusing my spirit into them! Thanks for that feedback! -

ParticipantHey all! Getting caught up in these threads!
I’ve got my calendar set up. I use scheduleonce. It automatically connects to zoom (for discovery calls) and I can set up an automatic email reminder sequence and connect it into my CRM (I use Kartra). -

ParticipantHi everyone!
I’ve been in catch up mode and I’m loving these webinars.
My lead magnet is a value video, “The 4 Unconscious Thought Habits that Could be Sabotaging Your Life (and how to retrain your brain so you can create a life You design). May change the title up to make that more specific as I rewrite my VSL. My target market is high performing professional women and men of color. What I’m selling them into is NLP 4 in 1 Prac training. -

ParticipantLike I’ve read above, I have a few versions depending on who I’m talking to and the context in which I’m speaking, however…
Here’s one version i use…
I teach people how to use language… spoken and unspoken, to reprogram their minds so that they can be at the source of their lives (instead of the effect), be their highest state of excellence & live a created life (rather than an inherited one)
Here’s another…
I help people eliminate unconscious the negative emotions, limiting beliefs, and internal obstacles that hold them back, so that they can be at the source of their lives (instead of the effect), be their highest state of excellence & live a created life (rather than an inherited one) every day of their life.
As I come up with others I frequently use, I will add them here. Would love feedback!

ParticipantGina,
Its funny. I’m not exactly sure what I’ll do in retirement.
I only imagined retirement being a space where I work b/c I want to not because I have to.
I’d probably continue to speak, educate and train… but I won’t be needed by the company to do so.I know I’d love to travel and spend time with loved ones (friends and family).
Thanks for asking!
Looking forward to speaking soon! -
