ParticipantHi Toni,
Over the years I’ve dealt with pain a lot, both in myself and others.
Can you be more specific at all? I have successfully healed nerve pain and damage in my hands and feet, and other people with things like phantom limb pain, post operative pain, and trauma.
Most of the time my chosen route has been hypnosis and ideomotor signals, after clearing up any associated negative emotions and limiting beliefs. My basic idea is to ask the UCM to take the signal that used to create pain and reroute the signal through other available pathways. Obviously you have to assess if it’s safe to remove the pain.
There is physical tasking too, depending on the issue presented.
The pain that hasn’t happened yet doesn’t have to!

ParticipantHi Toni,
First I agree with Adriana – is it a self diagnosis or a medical one? I’m finding lots of people self diagnosing into all sorts of warp tunnels recently.
I’ve worked with several autistic people, and high and low functioning Aspergers too. It has been successful each time doing basically what I’d do anyway. There are a few things to bear in mind in my opinion, but once you get the hang of it it’s easy. One of my best friends is Aspergers, so I’m used to it after 40 years.
Social niceties – basically no need with most of them, you can do it but if they don’t bother then you don’t need to. My friend does do the hello. good bye, thank you thing, but I know lots who don’t bother, and it’s not that they’re being rude, it’s just not necessary as far as they’re concerned. Take your cues from the client. There’s one person that if I answer the phone to him I just say “Yes? or Hi” – he doesn’t say hi back but just knows I’m there because I made a sound, and starts talking! Often he just hangs up when he’s finished, which I think is hilarious.
Literal communication – I have to be clear about literally what I want to know or ask them to do. “Is anytime Wednesday good for you next week?” isn’t specific enough – he has no idea maybe because he’s not there yet. “We will meet 2pm next Wednesday” is probably more along the right lines. I had one funny moment when I told a client I was leaving to be somewhere else and he didn’t move – but when I said “Mate that means this is where you leave too” he just said “oh ok” and got his things together.
As for the potential for a rant on the subject of their personal obsession, get the OK ahead of time to interrupt that without them being offended..
One other thought, just with Aspergers I think, but there tends to be a physiological movement that gives them away, they often have a sort of tick where they touch the tip of their tongue a lot, or the top of the head, and also rocking is common.
Just my random thoughts, if you have specifics fire away and I can let you know if I have any experience with it.
As for techniques, I have had no issues with anchoring, TLT etc. So have fun!

ParticipantHi Gina
Great question!
I’m super hot on tasking, so it applies to me too as well as the people I work with. I have just reviewed last year’s plan, and set out the big picture plan for this year, as I do on March 31st each year. Then I have monthly reviews to reset targets and go again. But I also have a weekly review for the immediate targets in the coming days.
To keep me accountable, I discuss this weekly with my wife, who also does the same with her goals, so we coach each other.
All this filters down into an immediate ‘important task list’ of what’s actually in my control to achieve each day. This is a fluid and changeable list of priorities which are my main focus. This really helps me when the goal posts move, or unexpected opportunities arise – law of requisite variety!
This has been fundamental to my increasing success in all areas – consistency over time, through a methodological approach and accountability.

ParticipantHi there
Sure thing,
Mihaly Csikszentmihaly in the book “Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience”
Mihaly estimates that we can only consciously process about 126 bits of information per second. This was based on earlier work by Miller and Orme and von Uexkull. Miller showed you could process 7 + /- 2 chunks of information per unit of time. Then Orme showed that an “attentional unit“ of time was 1/18th of a second, based on earlier calculations by Uexkull. Therefore we can process 7×18=126bits per second of the 11 million available. The RAS (Reticular Activating System) is responsible for carrying messages between the CM and the UCM, and it filters and decides what you accept and reject based on your beliefs, attitudes and values. The information that remains in your attention forms your “internal representation (IR) or map of the world. Some people call this your awareness! Remember the map is NOT the territory.
State of flow.
Intense and focused concentration on the activity
Merging of action and awareness of the current task
The temporary loss of ability to reflect
A sense of personal control and ownership over the activity
A distortion of subjective time
The experience is internally rewarding in and of itselfWhen all six of these experiences are combined, then one is said to have achieved a state of flow.
Two more problems suggest themselves when thinking about this immense amount of compression. First is the problem of determining how long it takes to do the compression, and second is the problem of determining where the processing power is found for doing this much compression.
The solution to the first problem is suggested by the approximately half-second delay between the instant that the senses receive a stimulus and the instant that the mind is conscious of a sensation. (To compensate for this delay, the body has a reflex system that can respond in less than one-tenth of second, before the mind is conscious of the stimulus.) This half-second delay seems to be the time required for processing and compressing sensory input.
The solution to the second problem is suggested by the approximately 100 billion cells of the brain, each with connections to thousands of other brain cells. Equipped with this many processors, the brain might be capable of executing as many as 100 billion operations per second, a truly impressive number.

ParticipantTJC brand can invest a lot in advertising and has market presence already, but for people just starting out, what’s a good strategy for generating a call list for the 20 x calls per day?

ParticipantHi Judith.
Thanks for your kind words. I’m not a Master Trainer yet, still working towards it.
The best way to proceed is to message Conor in the first instance, that’s the correct protocol. Thanks

ParticipantThanks for that Conor, my caffeine intake is down about 3000% now! It takes everything and a little bit more to be successful – that was when I reached for the Sumatran coffee at the end lol. I’ve already started teaching my students international travelling English, and will be supporting them throughout the course with any translation issues. One question they had – can they sit the exam in Scouse? They’ve nailed the Scouse Parts Integration so they might demo that 😉
