The biggest gap in skill set for me at the moment is in technology, marketing and sales. It is the bums on seats factor coupled with finding the right bums to fill the trainings and how to find them. Marketing, branding, advertising and working with technology is all new to me. Not something I have been versed with before and a new territory. Navigating through social media and getting visible is another. Having followers to having engaged followers are two different things which I have learnt. The last webinar by Mark H was great on technology, zoom and set up and I would appreciate sessions on:
– Branding and Awareness
– Marketing Basics and what we need to do to get visible and out there
– Sales 101
– How to get bums on seats and sell out trainings
– Advertising 101 and progressed
– Technology 101
To me these are fundamental as a new business owner shifting from a Trainer into how to run a successful business and that is only possible if we have bums on seats.
