Such a powerful topic that for some of us we would prefer to shy away from and at the same time for those of us who are seeking to be masters of our own lives and have our word be law in our universe it is a necessary step on that journey toward self mastery and true freedom. For those of us who are in business and in my opinion if you are in this forum you are in business, then you will know that it is very difficult to succeed if you have not yet surveyed the land and understand the laws in which govern it.
Imagine yourself playing a game of basketball where you were completely unaware there was another team playing against you – and every time you would make progress toward your goal an invisible force would snatch the ball out of your hands and within seconds the ball would fly through the air through the hoop scoring another point against you.
Just like this imaginary game of basketball if we are unaware of the law’s or control mechanisms that are being used against us how can possibly hope to succeed in our overall objective?
Noam Chomsky who is one of the most notable linguists of our time said the following:
“Citizens of the democratic societies should undertake a course of intellectual self defense to protect themselves from manipulation and control, and to lay the basis for meaningful democracy.”
What better intellectual self defense to equip ourselves with then to be a Master Trainer of NLP which also enables us to equip others with the same defenses, Noam Chomsky is also a gentlemen who I see time and time again formulating “arguments” which are bullet proof by using the right information with the right thinking he creates the most exquisite rhetoric by using this Trivium (Grammar, logic & Rhetoric – See Adriana’s Hidden Magical Language Course) he also arms himself with the ability or “flexibility” (Law of Requisite Variety) to educate and inform others in a way that is credible, concise and valid.
By educating/training our students in this way we set ourselves up for a long and healthy career as we watch the fruits of our labor expressed in the success of our graduates through there ability to be the most flexible in the “system” which I believe is the key to transforming the planet!
