Could you pls recommend a program, a site for the evidence of the clients – for the date base, the best way to Keep tracking of your correspondence (mails, offers) with your clients?
I remember that in a thread, it was something abt Base Act.. I read abt insightly.com . Somebody already test it?

FileMaker Pro is an exquisite database software for tracking all aspects of your clients, correspondence, any information you need. It scales as big as you need but also works on a small scale just as effectively. there are lots of training videos for using it too, from the makers as well as users, and free training sessions from FileMaker Pro on using it. https://www.filemaker.com/platform/
If it’s small scale then maybe just use excel spreadsheets for your purposes, that works fine too. And cheaper.

Mihaela, watch the videos that Marc speaks about and also know that the best database for you is one that you’ll actually USE!
My mistake from the past has been investing in fancy complicated programs that cost a good amount of money for me to only use one function that I could have easily done on an excel spreadsheet.
So if the company you choose allows you to use a free trial (talk to a sales rep about this) then make sure you get value out of it that first month.
NOTE: I always work with a Sales Rep for these programs.
1. because I like to give the salesperson a commission
2. they teach you how to get value out of the program for what you need it for 🙂

Thank you. Indeed FileMaker Pro is an exquisite database software.
In the past, I put on the paper my date base, now I already started an Excel spreadsheet, and I will use FileMaker Pro in the next future, as my bussines is growing.
And, agree Laura and BB – important is to “pick up the phone and start dialling!” as Tad and Adriana told us – at least 20 calls/day ?

Most important thing – make outbound calls… and talk to people, not only leave messages.
it may seem obvious that this is needed – however, often times it’s exactly what people don’t do. they do everything else EXCEPT that…

ModeratorI agree…. here in Australia, I am using XERO which is an accounting software. all my contacts are in the system which I can access from anywhere anytime. everything about the client including business transactions are all together making it simple for me to know when I spoke with them and what business we did and the value of that transaction etc.i like the ‘one place’ approach..simple and efficient. ?
