My biggest goal is making positive mental health accessible to everyone. How best to do this by educating the masses? Why is it that if we cut ourselves or have the flu or broken a bone, we have no hesitation but rush to the doctors? Why is that if we have something broken inside our minds, we do not seek help? Is it the cost or is it not admitting that we need help? And why must most people wait until their minds are so broken before they seek help (or education)? I imagine a world where it is OK to seek help to become a better version of ourselves. I imagine a world, rich or poor can access psychoeducation about thinking critically and how to use the powers of their mind to achieve goals and how to live healthier and happier lives. We have Maths, Chemistry, Biology and so forth as part of our curriculum but why is critical thinking and how to use the powers of our mind not taught, unless we pursue it for ourselves as personal development? I have a big dream indeed but I also know that big dreams need to start with big and small steps. I welcome everyone’s input in making the essential steps. I’m also superbly excited I can be supervised by Adriana to turn this dream into reality.
