I find that if I plan too much, nothing happens and everything gets in the way. However, when I just take a huge leap and truly focus on just “getting started”, i actually finish off a lot that I wasn’t “planning” to do. This strategy seems to be working very well so I will keep doing it! I have listed my items to do on my diary and items I cannot finish will be moved onto the next day. I do have to constantly juggle priorities so when a task comes up, I would decide which task that requires me getting back to the client would need doing first, second and third. It’s a constant game I have to play but I do find that if I did switch off my phone and put it on airplane mode, turned off notifications for social media posts and focussed on enjoying the cognitive stretches of the tasks before me, that I achieve a lot of things quickly and efficiently. You are right, Adriana. It is wonderful to cut out all the electronics and the distractions! I haven’t invested a lot of money yet on promoting my NLP trainings but i have certainly invested time (which, I suppose can equate to a considerable sum). I do a lot of ongoing promotions for my profit centre business (being) in immigration but I feel not enough of TLT, Hypnosis, NLP. It appears that my clients all feel very empowered after consulting with me about their immigration problems. One client said he feels like he has wings each time he visits so he loves making an appointment to see me; another said that if he needed a boost in energy and confidence, all he had to do was book in to see me. It is amazing when I switched on the Rapport button and the invisible energy that flows all around, through and out. My energy is overflowing and never ending. One client commented she thought I was overacting each time I visited the cafe. It wasn’t until she actually did TLT with me that she realised where the centre of energy was coming from. I think I would have to accept that I won’t be purely working in a clinical psychology setting and if I already have a following in immigration clients, then so be it. I will be the best NLP/TLT and Hypnosis trainer in my field! I won’t look at it as a dichotomy anymore but more a creative marriage. Reading through the many posts really helps and having a group of like-minded people that are open to learnings is a great place to be. Thanks for sharing, everyone and thanks, Adriana for leading our way. I’m blessed to be taught by the best.
