Well Cristina I have to look at the fact that you said you’re disappointed. Examine what specifically about what you’ve listed that you are disappointed in. (reject anything that doesn’t apply) The Results at the end of the training? Not having boundaries with your time? your value? What promises? Look into each one of those things that bring you disappointment and see how you can manage it better for the next intro. Feedback, right? So if you seem to attract seminar addicts who love freebies, how can you manage the next one better? Charge what will weed them out.
The session doesn’t conclude immediately, would that be so bad if everyone stayed to enroll in the next level? So change how the session concludes, make a boundary for yourself. If the discussions are not ‘closing’ discussions, maybe decide to cut the energy and set an appointment in the future with them. Are the promises excuses for not taking action now? Then make a commitment to yourself to do what it takes to reframe and close them in that moment or cut the energy and move on. These are all examples, not really advice. Just some things I do to manage my energy when talking with those who will take action and knowing those who will not.
Remember every Intro will provide valuable feedback of what works for you and what does not. Be flexible, incorporate feedback, and try something new next time. You will find a stride that works for you and will encourage rather than disappoint, will motivate and recharge you. You’re on the path and most importantly you are DOING something!
If free gets you the results you’re looking for – do it! If free does not get you results…charge! 🙂
Your results will point you in the right direction, know your goal, do what it takes to get it, then readjust if needed.
