Criatina, funny…I wrote this answer 3 times and I could not post it. It just disappeared. Am I going to give up? No. So here is again the 4th trial.
So, I guess I need to hear myself say again and again this because I am creating a repeat…heheheh…. As an APEP graduate you understand this in terms of a projection.

I have one more thing to add to what Laura said: you remember the 80-20 rule? 80 % of the people will take you time, TALK about their issues (usually the ones who want to tell you everything about their life and complain, but don’t listen at all belong to this category) feel good because they dumped on you – therefore they feel a relief, or pick your brain but DO nothing. These are what we call the “freebies”. They want to learn something new, but are unwilling to invest in themselves. They’ll take all you time, they’ll tell you about all their problems but when it is about taking action to change anything …hmmm… Not the case. They are not high probability clients. Now you’re learning to discern between and the other 20% who are sincerely interested in DOING something to change their lives – these are your people. I said in the training you cannot help everybody. It is unfortunate because we are caring people and we would do everything we can to help people but if people don’t want to be helped….oh well, focus on those who do.
There used to be an old joke, with a student who after the summer vacation very proudly reported to the teacher that he did a good deed – he Helene an old woman to cross the road. There was only one problem. The woman did not want to cross the road.
So, you are learning. You are already a winner because you don’t let yourself be demotivated by the trials you go through in order to begin to discern all these intricacies of how to make your business a success.
There is an old saying that it is not the victory of a battle that gives us the greatest joy and satisfaction but the road there. Most people don’t want to face the difficulties of winning a battle. They want easy everything. Unfortunately – or fortunately – the greatest learnings and development happens because of overcoming difficulties not because of the easy everything. If everything would be easy, we would all be lazy, and do nothing.
As I said, you’re already a winner. Keep going. You are not alone. We are here to hope every step of the way.
