SCYF type seminars are best done over the weekend. You don’t get to build rapport sufficiently with people on modules plus the seminar gets too fragmented.
The only purpose you would do such a weekend seminar is to use it as a intro to your larger trainings – I.e. The NLP practitioner. Fragmenting it in too small chunks will not produce these results.
It is a little unclear in your question whether you refer to the modules for DCYF weekend or your NLP Prac., as you mention first SCYF and then talk about the Prac.
So let me adress that one too. The Practitioner training can be done in segments. For instance you can use Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday 4 or 5 weeks in a row. The problem with teaching it this way is that you will have to spend every Friday evening mostly to remind peoole where you were the week before. And you have to give them some sort of homework during the week to keep them involved. So, you’ll have to backtrack quite a bit. I have taken my NLP Practiitoner over weekends and I can tell you that from a week to the other I could not remember much. Life keeps people busy with other things.
Another thing that can happen is that people may drop out. They’re busy over the weekend with other things. But even that can be mostly avoided if you set it up correctly from the beginning and then use the weekly homework to keep people interested and excited about their results using the techniques you taught.
But on the other hand, if most people have trouble getting time off work, it is an alternative which is doable and it could work quite well.
