In July I ran a SCYF type seminar and enrolled one participant into my first prac. I was not really intending to run pracs, but what the hell, she was keen. I had not done any prep for prac. I started transcribing the CDs and was recommended to transcribe the DVD instead so started again. I had 2 months to get it all done as my student wanted to complete it during school holidays as she is a teacher.
Let me tell you, I was still transcribing the last day 5 minutes before she turned up on that last day! I so don’t recommend that tight a time frame, but wanted to share as I did what Laura and Adriana suggested in enrolling first and preparing second and I pulled it off. I now know myself to be someone who gets the job done under any amount of pressure and don’t need to test that theory any more! Conor said to me, “You are a diamond. Diamonds are only made under extreme pressure!” I must now be a diamond!
My next prac is in Dec. I have one client booked and paid and have a huge horse expo next week where I will get to do lots of promotion. I would like a dozen or so students for this prac. Bring it on!!
