If you read my goal, you would have seen I plan to change the mindsets of youth toward a better future for themselves, but the bigger plan for this, is to install processes that they can use to help others. If we can change the kids minds to be aware of a larger community and how their actions impact others, we could stamp out self harm practices, bullying, drug and alcohol abuse, the list goes on. The saying ‘the children are our future’ may seem so cliche but the world is changeing rapidly and if we don’t get the kids to see a kinder future now, then i pity the world my grandkids will live in. I heard a saying the other day that was, “dont ask your kids what they want to be when they grow up, because their jobs aren’t created yet. Instead, ask them what do they want to achieve and what problems do they want to fix’. This process doesn’t pidgeon hole them into a set career but induces thought that they can do anything they put their mind to.
