“Can I market an NLP certification course around personal change? My market sounding from other NLP practitioners and trainers has been that you need to “get people in the room” and then they will experience the changes (that they may not realise they need) as opposed selling them into the room on that basis?”
If your audience is the general public you will have about 80% of people there who enroll just for the personal change aspect, then the same 80% will gain confidence in themselves and then tell you they want to help other people as a certified coach and Practitioner at some point during the training or once they’re going through the prestudy. They may have always had that intention but not the belief in themselves yet to even tell you or claim it as a goal on your sales call. then about 20% will be there for a very specific reason to learn sales, get certified, learn for the sake of helping others, etc…. but overall everyone in the room no matter what conscious reason they choose will experience personal change and get certified as side effects of your training (that’s a talk track I use that makes people laugh). So whatever reason they say they want to go, as long as you know you can deliver that through your training, is reason enough for them to attend, no matter what YOU call it.
