I have been doing some work with the not-for-profit sector – securing funds to boost the financial security of a NFP organisation. They wanted proof that NLP will help boost their fundraising results.
Well, as we know, there are many tools we can use as trainers that ‘sell’. I often like to use some ‘published’ evidence too, it makes it easier to influence the signature on the workshop/training agreement.

We worked on some examples of messaging to the ‘donors’ and the donation amounts increased! The NFP was very happy! So – efficient use of staff time, increased results! Great use of time, money!
Here’s the important point I want to make. In another post I mentioned revenue resilience. Looking for threats and flipping to opportunities. The threat in the current economic environment – which I see as being a projection, is that people won’t have the money to donate to a cause. Not so. Here in Australia, I have seen a flush of cash and individuals buying high value real estate and donating to causes. Ask yourself how is this so? Answer lies in values levels – environment and neurology.
Now, I am working with a leading politician running a training on ‘language’. BTW I did an ecology check first before we took this one on – and all good 🙂
