ParticipantHere is the “Is the world ready for this kind of Human Enhancement?” Human Enhancement the say. Artificially stimulated behavioral response. Agree with you Steph, “No Thanks!!” Anther great example of why it is more important than ever to build a successful NLP/TLT/Hypnosis training company.

KeymasterAlan, technology is great. It is the future and there is no way around it. As with everything else (including NLP techniques) the question always remains: how is it used? For the general good, or for the advantages of the few to control the many? That’s the issue…. Plus who’s definition of good are we operating under. Good for me may not be good for you. So define “good” in what I just said. Phew! Lucky we understand linguistics and complex equivalents. And one more thing. When you deal with VL3-5 coated with the veneer of 6 inside of 4 “materialistic spirituality” (save mother Gaia, humans are evil and they destroy the planet) at the helm of the corporations who produce the technology, plus a clueless population, the resorts may not be as wonderful as advertised.

ParticipantAdriana, I agree with your comment. Technology is rapidly changing in our world today. It is changing the way people are behaving, interacting and perceiving the world around them. Like it or not, this is a current reality.
Now, it is time for a new set of questions. Questions of intention of the person/thing that posses the skill applying these “new” technologies. “Good” as you describe would be the complex equivalence of the one in possession of the skill set to apply “new” technologies. Along with the perceived potential application for that technology to achieve a programmed intention or personal agenda. In fact what if this new technology is applied by “AI system” skill vs. “Human” skill?
So, you and I share the same curiosity “What is the GENERAL good?” and “By who’s/whats authority do we define GOOD?” Is it to be left in the hands of human skill or the AI systems?
Like you so eloquently point out if something is not done to change the awareness of a clueless population, what are we left with? My answer, take action!
