KeymasterThis is a question from Judy which I moved here.
Hi Adriana,
I am not sure where to post general questions, is it here in the weekly projects?
I am wondering if you can share an example of a referral letter which we can use.
I have tried searching google and haven’t found anything suitable. I think this would
be something valuable to add into the MP manuals also.Regards,
JudyMy answer as follows:
Hey Judy, all the questions before the Zoom webinar no 3 which is in 1.5 hours from now we’re to be posted under Zoom Webinar No. 3. I am going to make a special forum under the Zoom Webinar tab called Q&A. I will split this thread and put it there. Otherwise if everyone starts a new forum soon we’ll have an unbelievable mess.
Now to answer your question about referral: it’s simple. I, so and so … MD hereby I refer my patient so and so to …so and so…. for coaching doing NLP and Time Line Therapy (r) etc….in relation to so and so.,.. problem.
That’s the skeleton. If the doc wants to add something else there is ok as long as these words are there. As for putting in the MP manual, very bad idea. We are not lawyers, we are not attorneys, and cannot legally advise people as to what to do. We can give an opinion verbally but to put it in writing … We certainly would not do it. Have the students write it down as you dictate it.

Blockedthanks Adriana. as a follow on, my client sent the referral form to her psychologist. her Dr said she didn’t feel she needed to sign as it was her (the clients) decision to work with me s a coach. she had been diagnosed with post maya depression after having her child who is now 3, is on medication and came to me as she felt things were still off for her in life (not necessarily came to me for post natal depression) – what do you suggest with how I should move forward and respond to this? thanks!

KeymasterAgree with what BB says. Always err on the side of caution.
You need this for yourself so insist that she gets it. -

KeymasterHi Judy,
yes – electronic means and signatures are already mainstream nowadays. for instance we are using Adobe Ecosign service for remote signing or training agreements

KeymasterAgree with BB again. He’s running the AU Co for a long time and for a few years both AU and U.S. Co, and he’s got experience in this area. He’s learned a few things in the process – as only experience teaches you. To put it straight and country simple: The question is, can she take legal action against you at any point if unhappy with your services?

Hi Judy,
if I can say something here – having ran The Tad James Company as a GM/CEO for 13 years, these are your legal boundaries that may or may not come back and present you with challenges later. To put it mildly and in a permissive way…
You’re doing this exercise because you want to cover yourself from a legal point of view. if I were you, I would insist that they sign the document.
I don’t know how the local laws are in Thailand about this; I would advise caution.
in my experience, people or situations who avoid signing an agreement (being it a training agreement or any other form of agreements) are ALWAYS the ones who would create trouble down the line.
Yes. ALWAYS. Universal Quantifier and backed up by experience..
Cheers,

Brenda Terry
ParticipantHi there!
And Happy Monday!Wondering if there is a separate section for straight Q&A based on topic…
I have three questions:
1. What would be powerful tasking for a single person (55 years old, never been married) doing a relationship breakthrough to find his/her ideal mate?
2. Where specifically can I purchase the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator self-scoring assessment we received at Master Prac?
3. Does one have to get certified through Meyers-Briggs to utilize that assessment with clients?
Thanks in advance for all of your help!

KeymasterHi Brenda, to answer your question, there is no topic-related Q&A. This is it. It is impossible to make that many sections to the forum. It will become unravelled. The organization of the forum is a matter of chunking – you would not put in the content of your NLP Practitioner all the ways in which you could use SMDs…. ?
Now to your questions:
1. Depending on the client. Never married could equal never in a committed relationship. So it could be non-committing (fear, refusal, playing the field, etc.) issues. Therefore the tasking would be about that. Or, it could be based on a series of beliefs about marriage and commitment – and then the tasking would be about that. So, do a complete DPH, charge the client for that, and depending on the DPH and whatever transpires devise the task accordingly. In this situation give the client the tasking after the DPH. After that do the usual, full breakthough, relationship paradigm, values elicitation in relationship, sex, and also in life. See if having a relationship is part of life values and where it is positioned in the hierarchy. Change if necessary. Set a goal in future time line, discuss the not jumping in bed with the person appearing if they’re serious about finding their true life mate. Discuss RAS (reticular activating system) and explain how the UM starts creating “people” of which some may not be suitable according to the relationships paradigm list s/he made. Etc, etc. You know how to do a full breakthrough. At the end give another task: dating!
2. Our Office. Laura can help you with that.
3. Theoretically yes. There are a lot of hoops to get certified. Try as business consultant.
Hope this helps.

ParticipantHi Adriana,
I had a question specific to “Elicitation of The Time Line #1” on Page 9 of the “Time Line Therapy Practitioner Training” guide where reference is made in parentheses to “(Always note all analog behaviour in elicitation)”.
Whereas digital is akin to on/off, 1/0, black/white and analogue is a more gradual transition, in this particular context, what is being referred to with “..note analog behaviour…” in terms of the elicitation.
thanks,
Rob.-

Adriana James
KeymasterRob, digital in this context refers to words, meaning the Ad part of client’s communication. What the client says. Analogue refers to subtle (or not so subtle) physiological changes in physiology as the client answers. For example their hand may unconsciously make a gesture, their head may tilt in the direction where the last or future is located, their eyes may look in that direction as well…. So everything that’s not Ad should be also taken into consideration.
One client adamantly insisted that she does not know where the time line was, but her hand was gesturing to the right “slicing” through the air as she was showing memories like slides one next to each other in front of her and to the right. Needless to say that she turned out to be through time with her past in front of her and to the right and future in front of her and to the left.
But all this should be still considered in light of encouraging the client to answer very fast and without much Self Talk (Ad). The fastest the client answers the more they will answer unconsciously rather than trying to figure out consciously how the TL is organized. This is important because the client is not organizing the memories consciously. It is the UM who organizes the TL either through time, in time, or a combination of both.
I hope this helps.

KeymasterThis is a response to one of the participants in this forum who had an exchange of emails with one of The Tad James Co. members. Since this communication was not directly expressed in the forum, I will keep the name of the person anonymous. However, the concerns expressed require an answer for clarification.
Here is what this person says:
(re: the “Hidden Magical Language” advanced linguistics training).
“When I first received the link (now gone and I’m not sure where), I ignored it as the title itself sounds like more gnostic, “I know something you don’t know and the world is out to get you and will if you don’t learn my secret” verbiage I’m coming to expect from TJC. If you can get me the link and password, or, send me in the right direction, I’ll take another look.
In response to your letter earlier today, I suspect you meant it to be a pep talk of some form. Is it possible there are others in the chain who, like me, won’t participate as long as the chains continue to go in the direction of paranoid rants about who and what is out to get us? From the evil marketing directors of large corporations to governments to AI to radiation from cell phone transmission towers, they’re out to get us. I originally learned NLP in the 90’s because of one word: elegance. The elegance of aligned values, language patterns, lives fragmented now in a much more whole and holistic direction, etc.
As depicted in the ongoing streams titled, “Why do we need to fear AI,” NLP is the only true tool for fighting off the barbarians at the gate. And one needs a “magical hidden language,” along with “Huna” to truly understand both the nature of the threats and how to wage a winning fight against them all. Which leaves me more than a bit frustrated. This is not why I’m seeking training with the Tad James Company.
I’m training with your company because it once featured what I believed to be the finest NLP/TLT/Hypno trainer in the world. Please, may we have a little more of the positive impact on the world in the vein of what was offered not so long ago by the Tad James Company and a little less gnostic paranoia?
Again, in the spirit of truly checking things out, please let me know who to contact for another password and log in information.”Here is the answer:
First of all I have to admit that I will do my best to help to clarify the issues you bring up, and also to help you with your unspoken concerns. From our position, things are very different from how you describe them.
Let’s go back to the basics. What is NLP? In a nutshell it is the science of the mind. The words “the mind” in themselves presuppose the working of the mind and thinking, HOW it works, not WHAT it thinks. The techniques which are part of NLP are just techniques but their purpose is to change beliefs, decisions, motivations (values) and behaviors. In the trainings we were always saying that NLP has and IS being used for manipulation. The techniques are just tools and as such can serve either purpose, depending on the intent.
But why do we really learn NLP? For you, it was “elegance”. For us, we notice that at the practitioner level people want to be more motivated, to increase sales, better relationships, and the like. This is how most of us begin. But as we progress and we start discovering how our minds operate we become more inquisitive, and surely at the level of a trainer and especially Master Trainer we should be willfully capable of discerning between the myriad of points of view and options offered to us by the external world. That is, if we first are aware of them.
I have to mention that it is unclear what offended you so badly. Was it the title of the video “Why Do We Need To Fear AI?” or was it the name of the training called “The Hidden Magical Language”. Since I am unclear I will answer for both.
If what offended you so greatly was the name of the video “Why Do We Need To Fear AI” you need to know that it was a short hand from the original title of a TEDx talk (a main stream channel of communication). The whole name of the video in YouTube is “The Real Reason to be Afraid of Artificial Intelligence” There was also an article which appeared in the BBC (another very main stream media organization) called “Why Do We Need To Fear AI” You can read the article here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-32334568 Meanwhile I changed that title as you can see under the forum “Videos and Article of Interest” with my apologies to you.
However, the purpose for posting that video was to discover what the speaker was actually saying. He wasn’t bashing AI and what it is doing TO us as you affirm. In my opinion, he was supporting what we teach here. The necessity to think critically about every new technological development and consider all the implications before we experiment with it. Therefore the only thing which was important and which was substantiated in further comments below this video was what the speaker was saying: “The only thing we need to fear is intellectual laziness”. Unfortunately I think you missed that line, and I say this with all my respect to you, and I have a great respect for you and your knowledge. If you actually watch that video, this message pops at you immediately.
Now let’s talk about the “Hidden Magical Language” training. You say that it sounded like “I know something you don’t know and the world is out to get you and will if you don’t learn my secret”. I can assure you that this thought did not enter our minds. Here is how we thought about that title.
From our point of view, first of all, it is a marketing title. Every product needs to be marketed correctly otherwise it will flop. Do we like this? Do we dislike this? The answer is neither ‘yes’ nor ‘no’ to both. It is the external environment on which business is based that require careful marketing of every product. This is what we teach you in the forum called Weekly Projects. We don’t keep this as the ace in the sleeve – a thing that we know and we won’t tell you. But the truth is that we do now certain things because of 37 years of experience in the field, not only in NLP, Time Line Therapy®, etc., but also in how to make a business that works. And we are willing to share these things with you, which is not the case for many other NLP Companies.
If you were to be successful in your own business, you cannot ignore the business environment in which you exist as a business entity. You have learned this in the Master Practitioner in the values section where we emphasize again and again that the environment bumps against one’s neurology and allows – or not – certain changes. We also said that the best VL to be at is that one which allows for control over the external environment. This is what the Marketing NLP training is all about and especially this is what the Projects in the forum are all about: how to learn what works according to the environment in which we live and apply it to your business. It is not a judgment of what we would like the environment to be. It is not a judgment of right and wrong as it is not about what we like or dislike. It is about what works according to the present environment. Tomorrow things may change and those who can notice the changes will change as well.
Secondly, aside from being a marketing title, the “Hidden Magical Language” is a descriptive term. First of all we did not say it is secret. We said “Hidden”. And it is. Very few people know it. The truth is that most people do NOT know the basics of logical fallacies, and in general do not study logic. This is hidden to them. It is hidden in plain sight, and yet it remains unknown although it has been around since Ancient Greece. Logic is a discipline not studied nowadays. Now, you may have studied logic and logical fallacies which, as an aside, are based on presuppositions in natural language thus they represent an advanced course in linguistics. But here is my question to ponder: how is one to teach NLP without logic? How is one going to reframe the logical fallacies in the utterances of your prospective clients which give you complex equivalents that make no sense if one does not understand this?
Keep in mind that this training was initially not devised for public. I made it for in house only, for the Tad James Co. and then we decided to make it public, true to our standpoint that when we develop something that could be useful to our students we always put it out. We don’t keep “secrets”. So, we should go back to basic presuppositions of NLP. “Calibrate on behavior”. Calibrate on our behavior throughout years. Have we kept “secrets” from you, our graduates? Or do we put out, almost yearly, everything new that we discover for you to know immediately? Are we closed or open architecture? Let me help you out – open architecture. We allow you to use our materials, our intellectual property; we share with you everything we know, so you can do good work on this planet. If our students find that what we offer is of no use to them, by all means, they are free to use some other company that can serve their needs better.
But, since we speak of thinking and logic, please think this with me: how are you going to teach “mind techniques” and make them usable in an intelligent fashion if you mind read and make complex equivalents without asking enough questions before reaching a conclusion? So, I am still not clear what offended you.
We always encouraged our graduates to really ponder on HOW the techniques work, the patterns by which they are developed, and not WHAT to put as content (which again is true for our field – HOW not WHAT). We encourage you to use them in a positive fashion as you (hopefully) are selling something that can help people (see Project No. 8). We also made available for you all the videos from the Marketing for NLP in the same forum where all the other projects are.
The title “Hidden Magical Language” does not lie; these techniques are hidden in as much as they are unknown by a large percentage of the population. Did it offend you by the assumption you made that we promote it as we do know something you don’t and that made you feel bad? I can assure you that this was not part of our thinking. Not even close.
But if I was to rationally argue the case and just for the argument sake, let’s consider the following. You know much more than someone not trained in NLP, Time Line Therapy®, etc. Does that mean that you should not say so? I am not talking about showing off, I am not talking about telling people that you are “better” than them, but I am talking about admitting to know something that you are willing to teach and share, the fact that you have some knowledge and expertise in a domain where others do not. Most people out there in the world know something about their areas of expertise that I have no idea about. Shall I get offended when they say to me “I am an expert in …” Actually this happened to me recently, when I talked to a bio-physicist and neuroscientist who in my face told me that he is a genius and he is unique in the country for his approach in dealing with the ill effects of non-ionizing radiation. Researching him later, I found out that he is a consultant for Columbia University, was a prodigy child, has 5 Ph.D.’s… and by all means, could be considered a genius. Shall I get offended because he knows his capabilities and is not afraid of standing up for himself?
Now, I am not affirming here that we are geniuses at The Tad James Co. My point by giving you this parallel is to show you that the title “The Hidden Magical Language” is descriptive and based on reality.
It seems to me that there is something about NLP in general that bugs you, and not necessarily about the Tad James Co., as we show you the good and the bad and ask you to make your own mind. If we bump against your values – which we obviously do – and cannot serve you anymore, we apologize and you certainly have the right at any time to choose another NLP company that serves your needs better.
Now, let’s talk about the Complex Equivalent you made that because we post and inform you about certain issues equals “we are fighting the barbarians at the gate”. First of all we are not fighting anyone. To attempt to do any of that would be plain stupid. Moreover “fighting” is not in our motivation and values. But ignorance is NOT bliss.
Are we not allowed to challenge dogma? We are working with critical thinking which implies questioning, does it not?
Are we supposed to not pay attention to what goes on in our environment?
Are we supposed to revert back to VL 4 believe and do not question? What happened to the Humanistic values from the Enlightenment period?
Are we supposed to put our heads in the sand and as George Carlin said delve into “willful ignorance”?
What about Rupert Sheldrake? Shall we dismiss what he said?
What about Michael Cremo and his discoveries about the history of artifacts?
What about the statements of people like Elon Musk, Bill Gates, and Steven Hawking warning us about the dangers of going nuts with technology? Shall we not preoccupy ourselves because we think it does not apply to us?Shall we freak out and think that we need to “fight” these technologies? As I said numerous times the answer is absolutely not – we, the NLP trained people with the Time Line Therapy® skills under our belt, have the tools to NOT make that mistake and teach the unconscious to avoid fear-based responses. By everything we teach we are striving not to react emotionally with the knee-jerk reflex as I wrote so many times in my articles, while at the same time not becoming cold hearted Ad biological machines. However, ignorance is NOT bliss.
Shall we ignore the 21 Trillion in Missing Money from the Department of Defense (DOD) and the US Housing and Urban Development (HUD)? The money has been disappearing over the course of two decades through a mysterious process called ‘Undocumented Adjustments” because it does not concern us? Shall we dismiss the findings of Michigan State University professor, Dr. Mark Skidmore, who helped identify the missing trillions and how that sent a shock wave through Washington as the truth?
See this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CwpjIwwI9o&t=62sHow could we ignore all of that? The people seeing us for coaching and our students will be caught in financial problems and only doing Time Line Therapy® without explaining to them the financial facts will not help them make wiser choices in their future. Then they will believe that Time Line Therapy® is just a joke and there is nothing they can do, which is so dis-empowering!
Shall we not discuss the issues? Why not?
Shall we ignore public assets are auctioned off (probably under similar conditions of “guaranteed returns” on investments in the form of rents) as in this example
https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-04-06/private-equity-firm-offers-cash-strapped-connecticut-2bn-government-buildingsShall we not see that this is a sample of VL 5 strategy?
Shall we ignore the language patterns used by the GMO industry and their practices of expanding their market share regardless of the consequences on our health based on terms like “substantial equivalence”? shall we not notice that this is “redefining terms” which is another mark of VL 5? “Therefore the GMO industry is telling the public and regulators that genome-edited plants are indistinguishable from naturally bred plants, and yet at the same time it is telling patent offices that genome-edited plants are completely different from naturally bred plants.”
See this: http://www.theeventchronicle.com/gmo/the-next-huge-gmo-crime-is-here/Of course, we need to know the language patterns used in the above paragraph before we can make a judgment.
Conversely shall we freak out against the genetic technologies? Like CRISPR?
The answer is no.But shall we not question whether the new discoveries are having unforeseen consequences of which not even many scientists are aware of since they are so new especially when there are some warning signs raised by reputable scientists?
Personally, it is my opinion (and it is just that, an opinion) that these technologies are the future and there is no way around them. However, shall we not question their application and by our questioning to ensure that they are sufficiently tested for safety so they avoid unforeseen consequences?
Shall we ignore that recently California has introduced bill 1424 requiring “fact checkers” for verification before you can post anything on your website or on your social media which is part of a plan to spread “false information”? Shall we ignore the fact that the allowed “fact checkers” will always agree with ONE official position on everything and so they will not be “fact checkers” at all but a repetition of ONE point of view, the only one allowed? And along the same line, shall we ignore the fact that Google, several years ago has virtually demoted NLPCoaching website in its search engine because of the “false claim” that was perpetrated by calling a web page “Creating Your Future®” where we advertised The Secret of Creating Your Future® seminar? Google told us that nobody can create the future and the name Creating Your Future® is a false claim. The fact that it is just a name (and trademarked for more than 20 years now) had no meaning.
Sure we can ignore all that, but if we do, we will have to close down all our NLP and Time Line Therapy® training and coaching businesses because the “fact checkers” will “prove” that you cannot let go of Negative Emotions from the past, and that you cannot create the future by inserting goals in a certain fashion in the future Time Line and that NLP is a pseudo-science and that you cannot change anything with NLP techniques.
Shall we ignore that fact that common knowledge tells us that once you go through a distressing event in your life you are to remain prisoner of that event for ever and that there is nothing you can do? That’s “a fact” in main stream common knowledge, so shall we accept that? Shall we ignore that usually the “fact checkers” utilize linguistic methods by which any point of view, no matter how well substantiated by facts, is “debunked” and ridiculed, usually directing the focus on a single and irrelevant detail?
Shall we ignore the fact that there are many health issues because of the non-ionizing radiation on the human brain and cellular health due to the rapid technological changes to which the human body cannot adapt during the same period of time?
Conversely shall we ban all ELF, EMF, WiFi, etc.?
Of course not! Shall we ban technology?
Absolutely not – it is wonderful! It is the next frontier in human development in general. But shall we be not aware that our bodies may respond in unforeseen and strange ways to this massive influx of new technologies? Again my humble opinion is that technology is great but is not the answer to everything and unchecked can create havoc.
Shall we ignore the fact that the cell phone addiction creates changes in the dopamine receptors in the brain and that there are clinics now in the world dedicated to helping people overcome addiction to social media, etc.? Will you not have more and more people coming to you with this problem? Whether they are your students or coaching clients? Could you advise them correctly if you don’t understand what is happening to them and the dopamine (or lack thereof) in their brain? Telling them to cut it out won’t do it! They’re addicted and addiction creates a certain response in the brain. Shall we miss the point completely and just tell them to be good, or else?
See my post under Project No. 4 – Finding Your Niche While Teaching NLP Trainings here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-5458593/First-look-inside-Britains-rehab-web-junkies.html
Shall we ignore reason completely and end up at the point where we cannot not articulate the reasoning behind our stance? What are we going to teach then as NLP trainers and Master Trainers? Regurgitate a bunch of techniques by reading the manuals?
Could we make our trainings as pre-slotted classes where people are just supposed to regurgitate something we teach? How are they going then to deal with real life situations where someone comes to them because they’ve just been terminated as their job was taken by robots? Is Time Line Therapy® and NLP alone going to resolve the issue without a change in thinking that allows that person to find new ways of not only mitigating the loss but reconstructing their lives in a different way?
Shall we ignore the massive banking derivatives fraud which was even shown in movies like “The Big Short” which is based on a real story?
Are they “out to get us”? Again with all due respect to you, this question stems from a VL 4 perspective. “They” do not care. So that question is irrelevant in a VL 5 environment. I repeated this so many times in our trainings. In VL 5 the population is called “consumers”. Humanistic values do not enter in the thinking of VL 5 when decisions are made in the board room and are concerned with increasing market share. But, does that mean that we should become unwitting victims of their financial schemes as so many people lost their homes and livelihoods in the housing bubble from 2008?
Shall we ignore then the unconscious aspects of VL 5 (much of which I discussed above) and pretend they do not exist because they are too challenging to our Models Of The World? Or shall we throw the baby with the bath water (all the good done by the conscious aspects of VL 4) where there was law and all people and institutions including corporations actually respected that law? Shall we ignore what it has given us as a culture and where it has brought our civilization and replace it with algorithms alone diminishing the human being to the state of a biological machine?
Shall we dismiss all these and move along because there is nothing to see here, or because we are challenged and don’t like to hear these things?
We sure could. We could ignore all the reality around us, of course, but it will come a time when we will not be able to ignore the consequences of ignoring reality. The whole world is moving into VL 5 and as I mentioned many times in the trainings, those who don’t keep up will become unwitting casualties as their neurology is unprepared for the environment around us. When a client came to Tad complaining that the doctors, after running all the tests, gave up on her as she was having rectal bleeding without any discoverable cause, Tad told her to give up eating GM soy (she was a vegetarian) and the rectal bleeding disappeared. Shall we ignore that as a coincidence or shall we consider the fact that Tad was knowledgeable about the fact that one of the side effects of GMO for some sensitive people is internal bleeding?
Why do you think I named my book “Values and the Evolution of Consciousness?” Why do you think I am crystal clear that progressing through the values has something to do with logic, reason, analysis, critical thinking and the like and has also to do with further development of the higher centers of the brain which are to eventually take over from the more primitive ones (as Graves mentioned in his work and whose words I read to you in the Master Practitioner)? In the same breath, it is my conclusion in the book that consciousness does not “develop” consciousness just “is”. Then what prevents us from experiencing it at the expansive, loving, empathetic, and penetrating to the level it could be? The answer is simple. The mind and specifically our thinking are not allowing us to experience that level unless trained correctly. And that’s called Values Levels. The mind and its ability to think and question is the tool. Consciousness just is.
Now I would like to address your mentioning of us using Gnostic techniques. Without getting into unnecessary details, in order to answer this accusation I would like to paraphrase Dr. Joseph Farrell, who has a Ph.D. in Patristics from Oxford University, regarding the application of Gnostic strategies and tactics in our reality today: “…the pattern consistent throughout [all the main stream videos and narratives] is that it relies on A SINGLE POINT OF ARBITRATION [decision making], and MAINTAINS FOCUS ON A SINGLE POINT OF EVIDENCE [which usually is a single irrelevant detail].” Combine this with the tactic of the PROHIBITION OF QUESTIONING, that reveals itself in phrases like “the debate is over”, “the science is settled” and “Why are we still talking about this?” which tend to accompany any main stream discussions on hot topics nowadays. Did you notice these Gnostic techniques? If you think we use Gnostic techniques I would suggest you look carefully at the Gnostic strategies and tactics and you will notice that it is not us doing it.
The three above-mentioned and capitalized tactics are key components of any Gnostic System and what we are witnessing IS a form of Gnosticism. These Gnostic strategies are always designed to shut down critical thinking and critical questioning.
Is this what you are advocating that we should do? Accept unthinkingly the unique point of arbitration called “common knowledge” and base our thinking on their usually single point of evidence? Not ask any questions? Not concern ourselves with anything but ONE point of attention?
If we were to subscribe to this, we should not teach NLP as Wikipedia catalogues it as a pseudo-science. We should admit to the ONE accepted view. If Tad were to have done this years ago when he was attacked wildly for his “accelerated” format to teach NLP, the trainings that you call “elegant” would not be here today.
Should we simply forget about all the results we see with our students, coaching clients, and that our graduates report with their students and graduates for 37 years, and simply go down this well-beaten path of common knowledge? In the science of risk assessment this is called a “SINGLE POINT OF FAILURE”.
Where and when have you seen us promoting these patterns? Didn’t we always say “Think for yourself” and make up your own mind AFTER you inform yourself with as many pieces of information as you only can (the info you like and that conforms to your values and the info you don’t). After that, if you have thorough standards of argumentation, of evaluation, and of sourcing – which we do our best to provide – in your thinking, the better off you’ll be. Then you can make an informed decision as you don’t react, but initiate.
Are these videos that you don’t like right? Are they wrong? This is up to you to decide. We do not tell you how to run your life. We provide all sorts of information as an additional forum to which, as I said, you can unsubscribe at any time. We post things that are hard to find in main stream media on the forum, because the main stream views are all over the place, and we do not need to reiterate the same over and over. Logic, reason, and critical thinking based on linguistic analysis and logical fallacies (which BTW are part and parcel of the Hidden Magical Language Training) are at the root of solutions.
If you are abreacting against the PR language techniques we use to advertise our trainings, here is my answer to that. If you read and do the projects formulated for you in this forum (which again are an important part of your MT program) you will notice that we teach you how to use these techniques for your benefit as well. Techniques can be used to sell something detrimental to people or something good. I am talking about the same techniques. Whether you like it or not, these are all part of VL5 environment, and the corporate world is based on these linguistic techniques. I said until I turned blue in the face that it is not about likes or dislikes. It is not even about the NLP techniques themselves as techniques are just that. They are neither good nor bad. However, you imply that we use them in a bad fashion, and I challenge you to argue how do we do that? I think that you are actually arguing against VL 5 which “breaks the morals of society”, uses sales and marketing, and you are throwing out the baby with bath water.
So, and again with all due respect to you, I must point out that you are actually advising us to go down the path of a Gnostic approach, which actually you accuse us of doing.
We surely will take the feedback from you and strive not post anything under a title that could elicit such a negative response. For all we know we can change the title however we choose, which is what I have already done based on your feedback. The offensive title is now changed into “What Do We Need to Know About AI”. I personally apologize for all of us allowing that mistake upsetting you to appear in the forum – the original title of the video was shortened and posted. I will check carefully from now on and strive to verify that the posts have better formulated titles.
I could take personally your not so veiled comment about “once featured what I believed to be the finest NLP/TLT/Hypno trainer in the world”. The presupposition is that since Tad is not teaching the main part of the trainings, all that is gone which I could take as a personal offense. But I am not going to do that and just say that if my work is not to your liking or if you have something against me personally please feel free to tell me directly and argue your point, or find another NLP company lead by a man that can satisfy your needs much better.
There is one more point I would like to address and which is part of your communication to us and here I am a bit lost. What has Huna to do with this? Is the fact that we are mentioning the other trainings and that we sell them that offends you? Is the fact that we are selling our products offensive to you? Here is the answer. Ignore Huna if it is not for you. But I think you were just having a bad day, and it is obvious that you are grumpy. Therefore, I would like to extend an offer to you. If you need any help, let us know. We are not your enemy. We don’t mean to offend you. We truly want to help and assist and I say this with all my love and respect.
Ultimately, it is your choice. Take from what we offer only what interests you and what make the most difference in your life. The only thing not optional in the Forums are the Projects. And eventually if nothing we offer makes a difference, remember that we don’t force anything on you. In fact we always encourage students to be as independent as they only can. We are not in the business of creating cookie-cutters. That’s why we don’t charge you a fee for every student you teach using our materials. That’s why we are open architecture.
One more thing from Tad personally: Get a grip, man! We’re here for you. When we conceived of the forum the purpose was, and still is, to make you the best Master Trainer you can possibly be. The content of the forum is our best guess at what you’ll need after 37 years of teaching NLP as our experience base. We have literally spent thousands of hours and more than a year to put it together. We did the best we could. For you to flame us, is unfair.

ParticipantThanks Adriana for taking the time to write such an in-depth and informative article here. It’s been a lot to take in but it demonstrates to me how open you are about everything, and how prepared you are to share information and answer questions, even if they are potentially challenging. There’s a wealth of information here which is an extremely useful summary for facing the many questions people may have about some of the process we engage in.
In my opinion, the Hidden Magical Language content is extremely fascinating and enlightening. I enjoyed every minute of it, and to be able to access it again is so rewarding, as repeated viewings allow me to learn more each time, and become more familiar with the structure of critical thinking. As someone who has studied language most of his life, this was a major leap forwards for me, and one I’ll always be grateful for.

ParticipantMay I say that I love what Marc wrote. I actually sat down on the couch and read the entire piece or what you wrote Adriana. Adriana, thank you for sharing and it is also up to each one of us how we take and absorb our learnings as we grow in this incredible field of NLP.
I am thoroughly enjoying the Hidden Magical Language content also and am only on the second recording. To me personally being able to question my own beliefs, in particular the ones that were not serving me, because I was so stuck on either what the news said, or mainstream society was doing or thinking or saying, what I thought others thought or me and even worse what I thought of myself. Now I love to question beliefs and once again i always seem to follow the 5 principles to success wherein behavioral flexibility is key or in our presuppositions of NLP – the person or the system with the most flexibility controls the system. That gets me unstuck everytime. What am I doing or not doing to change it. That language alone changed my thinking and my outcomes. To be able to hear the perspective of everything you share with us leaves me more opportunity to explore and be open to change and to share those changes with my clients, my family, my friends, and anyone I come into contact with.
I could write so much here as to how much these trainings have helped me grow and be and live the life I choose to life and in that life transform others who are stuck in their beliefs and outcomes.
I am very grateful for the expert knowledge I learn here, and have learned and will continue to learn, as I apply the learnings I choose to help others who want to learn also.
Please continue to provide us with your expertise, experience, and knowledge – and last time I looked – I am in control of what I take with me.
From the bottom of my heart – thank you for continuing to Transform the Planet as you do.
With love,
Deb

KeymasterChange is all around us. It is not tiny, it is not innocuous and it is not something we can ignore. It is big, and it embraces all areas of life including a massive change in values levels. there are back and forth movements as the old does not want to give up to the new, but change is happening under our very eyes. It is good if we accept it, understand it, and in the process make our own contribution to make things better.
Here is a little video with some thoughts I recorded for you in relation to change. In fact, you may have heard this saying before, but it was never more true than today. The only sure thing is that everything is changing and will continue to change for the next 5-10 years. -

ParticipantOn the subject of change, if your in Austrlaia and/or have access to non geo-blocked content, the Seven Network have the “How to boil a frog” docuemntary available for viewing here https://7plus.com.au/MOME?episode-id=MOME01-067 and also “Life After Digital” here https://7plus.com.au/MOME?episode-id=MOME01-013.
These docos provide some interesting insights into the rapid – and accelerating – change going on around us. Go meta, adopt a different percpeptual position and who knows maybe even travel down a new neural pathway and journey down “The Road Less Travelled” (thanks Scott Peck).

KeymasterHi Rob, these are very interesting and an inkling for what the technocracy bound on automatization of the world is thinking like. Thank you for posting. Very interesting. But you can post them directly under the “videos and articles of interest” big forum rather than under “question and answers” so they are titles by themselves rather than just part of Q&A …if this makes sense. They can be individually posted there. I am now just before my departure for Oz trainings and I can’t attend to this very much due to the lack to time, but if I have time I will take them from here and post them independently under that forum later. Be well and keep us informed!

ParticipantThank you Adriana for your clarifying remarks regarding the email correspondence. It is interesting to me, as I’m sitting here and reading through the forums and catching myself up on what the TJC company is providing us in the master training program. I found myself captivated by this interaction.
It’s been my experience over the last 6 years, where I credit the TJC company for encouraging, challenging and inspiring me to critically think about my own critical thinking. As I read through your remarks I was impressed by the elegance you used in seeking to understand the perspective of the person who wrote the email.
So, as I think about this my thoughts return to the Presuppositions of NLP, specifically the Law of Requisite Variety, and how it applies to our critical thinking. My thought on this topic is that our thinking is the first behavior and to have behavioral flexibility in thinking is a skill to be developed. One that we are always developing. It is my perspective that to “know a thing” is to hinder our thinking and learning development.
I think of this quote “When the master is ready, the student will appear” meaning to attain mastery is to accept the eternal role of the student.
And it is how we learn to think that makes the difference. What happens when we perceive every topic using both deductive and inductive thinking? Would this directional thinking offer greater choice of our emotional behaviors? Would we not have a greater ability to fulfill our desires and intentions? Why choose something that feels negative over something that feels positive? Or vice-versa?
NLP/TLT/Hypnosis/Coaching/Huna, are all modalities or techniques used to develop learning. Learning to develop thinking flexibility. And for me it is a continual process of learning to think about how I think.
So, my eternal gratitude to Tad, Adriana, and the staff of the TJC for the opportunity to think about the thinking I use to think with. (I know…something to think about!)

Right! I would add one more thing to what you said: up and down the sliding scale deductive/inductive, abstract/specific, introvert/extrovert, sensor/intuitor depending on the context … you get the idea, and all of that without any cognitive strain, is an even more flexible mind set, than ‘this VS that’. Good to see you here in the forum!

ParticipantHi Adriana, I have been listening and transcribing the TLT cds for the practitioner, and reached to a point where I found that regarding the test at position #4, besides it is optional, that we shouldn’t test the client at this position if we haven’t released fear yet. and there Tad says if we do, then it will be at our own personal risk. There wasn’t an explanation why. And at the same time it is insisted on us, and that we have to insist that the students also follow the script word to word, and it is mentioned in negative emotion #1, that we have to test at position #4.
I saw also that in the secret of creating your future also the participants are bought directly from position three back to now, without the position 4 testing, that made sense to me, since maybe because it is working with a group.
Please if you can clarify this point for me why we shouldn’t test at position 4, before we eliminate fear.
thank you-

KeymasterHi Lina,
LOL You already gave yourself the answer. You say: “if we haven’t released fear yet. and there Tad says if we do, then it will be at our own personal risk. There wasn’t an explanation why”, but you just wrote it. IF WE DID NOT REALSE THE FEAR. Imagine what happens if you test a negative emotion before you release it? You associate the client in the negative emotion. That’s why.
As for the groups, you are right, in the interest of time when working with groups, testing is not necessary. It is different from working one-one-one in a complete intervention as in a coaching session. So when you teach TLT practitioners you tech them how to work one-on-one.

ParticipantI just want to share what an amazing experience it was to assist at the NLP Master Practitioner Training in Sydney last month. To be involved in the transformation of 91 students from around the world and be a part of an awesome group of coaching assistants along with the team at TJC was much more rewarding than I could have ever expected. It gave me great insight into running my own Master Prac Training and the sales training and support is invaluable as it is hands on! Where else can you get real time live training like that?
Thank you so much Adriana, Tad and all the TJC team as well as the fantastic group of coaching assistance for making this an experience I feel greatly honored to have been a part of and I highly recommend to others to take advantage of these fantastic opportunities we have to assist at these world class trainings.-

KeymasterThanks for the awesome feedback Toni, we loved having you as part of the team to assist 91 students to transform their lives – when you have 91 people out of their comfort zone at one time, the rock solid coaching assistants team is what helps the students transition seamlessly and that means sanity for the Trainers!
Being able to have fun selling and to actually get students to take action on enrolling for more trainings is an incredibly rewarding feeling and also invaluable for business.

ParticipantI am preparing the modules for my Master Practitioner Certification Training, and I keep encountering a statement that I perceive is very important, yet I don’t understand it. What else to do but go to the Forum for enlightenment?
The statement in question is: “Change is the order and sequence of the internal representations.” My understanding breaks down with the words “order and sequence,” because to me both those terms mean the same thing.
If the statement refers to varying the elements (the specific internal representations) and/or the sequence (the order in which they are arrayed), as is the case with strategies, then I am perfectly clear. If it is something else, I could use some enlightening.
Thanks in advance for your help!

KeymasterHey Paul, first of all congratulations for doing your MP. That’s great news.
To answer your question, yes, on the surface they are the same . However, the easiest way to make a difference between the two, is to think of a parallel with numbers. Then, analogically you will pull the conclusion.
Order is 1. 2, 3, 4, 5 ….
Sequence can be 1, 3, 2, 3, 2, 3, 4, 2, 3, 4, 2, 3, 4….
I hope this is clear enough.
Have a great training.
