Keymaster1. The Projects will have the threads associated with them. Check for open topics. Before posting a new topic, check to see if there is already a topic open on the subject. Refrain from posting the same question in several threads.
2. If you break a rule, then you will either be warned or banned. A ban of your user account may either be temporary or permanent.
3. Each member will have only one account. If you are banned from the forum, please do not create a new account. If you continue to create new accounts after you have been banned, your IP address will be blocked from the forum.
4. The administrator(s) and moderator(s) also have the right to edit, delete, move, or close any thread or post as they see necessary, without prior warning.
5. Report posts that violate the rules. Do this by selecting the Admin alert button at the top right corner of the post.
6. Use good judgment. Members of this community are world-wide and we can all learn through shared experience and get new ideas which we can try on our own. However, realize that not everything working for one person may necessarily work for you as the external circumstances may be different. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members and explain your perspective.
However, you are not free to attack, degrade, insult, or otherwise belittle them or the quality of their comments or this community in general. It does not matter what title, level of attainment, or progression through the Master Trainer Program, you are expected to obey by this rule.
7. Be willing to ask questions when you don’t know how to proceed. Lend a helping hand and be willing to share, communicate and answer questions posted by other members even if unsure whether you are right or wrong. Doubts, confusion, and stumbling blocks is common to everybody embarked on this path. Don’t be afraid to share.
If you’re feeling alone or don’t know what to do, share your worries and ask questions. If you’re rejoicing about a successful experience, share that too. Others can learn from it. A willingness to exchange ideas and verbalize your doubts or worries can go a long way toward helping each other. Remember when people help you, they are doing YOU a favor, therefore help people out by posting good descriptions of what you need help with. Refrain from snapping at people with answers such as “if you aren’t going to help don’t waste my time replying”.
8. Welcome new members. Help new people about how to find information and resources, save time, and how to get involved.
9. Ignore bothersome members. If there is someone on the forum that bothers you, select the Ignore button at the top right corner of the post.
10. Use descriptive titles for new posts. Avoid abstract post subjects like “Help” or “Question”. You will receive a better response by making your title more specific about the content of your post. Give a short summary of your problem IN THE SUBJECT.
NO Generic: “Help me”, “Hello”, “Very urgent”, “I have a question”
YES Specific and descriptive – I tried the elevator pitch and it did not work Where do I find info about closing?
11. Be respectful of moderator(s) in both the forum and in any private communications.
12. Stay on topic. Posts which are not relevant to the forum topic may be deleted.
13. The forum and its contents, posts and other associated items are the property of AdrianaJames.com.
