We are all gluten intolerant, as grains are not what they used to be even 30 years ago. Unfortunately. The level of contamination due to pesticides, fungicides and GMO has increased exponentially. We are all responding to this as our bodies are not made to work well on this level of contamination.

Here is a short article about the functioning of the brain especially the higher centers in relation to grains

The Frontal Cortex is directly related to the compalxity of thinking – read higher VAlues Levels. That ought to tell you something.
Having been a lover of bread and grains, I can attest to the fact that once I gave it up my thinking cleared, foggy and trancy moments are not ever there… I won’t touch grains nowadays. Even if they really taste good. I prefer my brain working really VS my stomach’s momentary satisfaction.

Thanks for sharing this one.Just came across it – am about to start a juice cleanse. Growing up on a farm, my food was generally uncontaminated. Around the age of 18, I started reading about the impact of DDT and dieldrin on the ecosystem – including on human beings. The half life of these compounds was alarming. And not only these compounds, there are many more. On the farm, I learned to smell fruit and vegetables so that I can determine freshness and ripeness. I continue to do so today, except the smell that I could smell is gone. When I think about organophosphates and GMO in food, particularly grain crops, why eat it? We opt for organic foods and have no gluten in our diet. Since changing my diet, my energy levels and ability to focus have changed. We have also found a provider of non GMO seeds or ‘heritage seeds’ in Australia and also producers of what I call ‘real tomatoes’… you know the ones that are not perfectly round and have wrinkles!

      Thanks Adriana!
