ModeratorHello Fellow Trainers
Last week, I was unpacking another tub from our move a few months ago – am just unpacking a little at a time so that each day is balanced across my priorities. I found a tub of goodies! Journal articles! Now, who on Earth would keep a tub of journal articles you are wondering…right? I said the same thing! I keep journal articles of interest and I don’t know if I can still see the journal article from all my notes and highlighting.
Anyway, some time ago, I remember Adriana talking about knowledge. The article I rediscovered is “Transformation of “a business in risks”: knowledge and learning for reinvention” published in “Management Decision” 2004. The case study is Jardine Matheson and Company, a Hong Kong multi-industry conglomerate that has experienced global and economic crises between between 1832 and 2004 – and survived. There were many break points and there will be more. The break points related to significant economic and global events. Question is how did this company and many others do better than survive and are there learnings for us as coaches and trainers?
Can companies learn from change, apply new knowledge for continuous invention and adapt? What is the value of knowledge in such situations and what does that mean for us? One thing that springs to mind is how do you apply Trivium? Remember the webinar Adriana did on this some weeks ago now? What is knowledge and how do we apply it to achieve results for us as trainers and for students/clients?
I think you already know many ways of applying knowledge to reinvent yourselves and continue to adapt to the changes in the external environment.
I like to go back over my notes from trainings and one piece of knowledge I use a lot is Quantum Linguistics. There is enormous knowledge in this section and application…It’s all about change after all. Transformation.
Knowledge is many things for example a resource, a way to expand our consciousness, understand models of the world, communicate differently – so many uses…
We have a lot of knowledge and the knowledge we have has enormous power – very ecological power, to empower us to adapt within and be ahead of the external environment pressures and achieve the results we want.
Learnings? What opportunities are there in the environment now? What opportunities are there for trainings and coaching?
I would love to explore how you use knowledge from trainings to transform your business.
What can you share?
Talk soon, Gina 🙂
