This Project is a continuation and more in-depth analysis of Project No. 21.
Make a list (after a 100 people survey) of general values of potential customers in your area just by conversationally eliciting values from people you talk to in your daily routine. What Values Levels are they? (NOTE – do NOT overestimate, rather underestimate. For example if someone talks about consciousness, meditation and oneness in the universe, it does not mean automatically they are doing VL 6. Remember the difference between the words [the coffee in the container] and the coffee cup [the neurology]).
Elicit carefully by conversationally questioning what are their main concerns in life? What about business? What about health? Fears? Problems? Their needs are directly related to these concerns. Finding out their needs, concerns and therefore values levels, you can then tailor your advertising with the key words necessary to produce the best results.
Make a list with all these and discuss in the forum. Verify if your list of elicited values, needs and concerns fit in the VL you think they are. If you overestimate you will overshoot and appeal to the wrong VL concerns and your advertising and marketing will not be successful. Hint – as a generalization most peopole will NOT be situated at VL 6 and 7. Warning – The greatest mistake is to confuse VL 4-6 with VL 6.
If you analyze correctly, your marketing and advertising dollars will do double duty and work much better for you.
