KeymasterWrite your NLP Elevator Pitch and develop 10 different ways of saying the same thing for use in different contexts and with different people.
An elevator pitch is a personal short description of who you are and what you do that sums up the “professional you” and can be delivered quickly — for example, in the time it would take two people to share an elevator ride. The point about the elevator pitch is not to remember exactly the words, but to create a couple of catchphrases that you can remember and on which you can build, depending on the given situation. Practice it with 5 people every day for 2 weeks. Exchange ideas in the forum, and tell us how it worked, IF it worked, and IF it didn’t, why not.

ParticipantHere’s a few. Since joining BNI I get to pitch differently every week, so I’ve got better at it over time. The following are example of starting point from which I developed the skill over time.
My mission is to inspire confidence, so people make empowered decisions.
Being effective in business is 20% strategy and 80% psychology, but most people think that thinking is something that just ‘happens’ to them, and don’t realise that they can control and improve their system to get better results consistently, both in their professional and personal lives. This what I excel in doing.
No serious business person would consider running their computers now on Windows 98, but when that first came out it was cutting edge. The mind’s brainware is no different. The strategies, values and beliefs which were once highly effective become increasingly out of date as time goes by, and yet many people do not consider the value of upgrading their thinking. NLP Training is the methodology through which all this can be achieved easily.
I enable people to discover and make consistent use of your hidden talents, abilities, strategies for success and mastery of life.
I help people eliminate blocks to success, so they achieve greater success and satisfaction in their personal and professional lives.
I help people in achieving everything they desire, so they can experience an enjoyable and fulfilling life
I work with professionals, to eliminate stress, improve decision making, efficiency, performance and time management
I help people to use their mind more efficiently, let go of what wasn’t working and achieve what they want
I help people break free of past limitations and accelerate towards the life they’ve been dreaming of.
I help people to eliminate unwanted patterns of thinking, and achieve their true potential for success. Would you like a free initial 30 minute consultation?
I help people to eliminate unwanted patterns of thinking, and achieve their true potential for success. I’ve helped hundreds of people like you to get the life they’ve been dreaming of. Would you like a free initial 30 minute consultation?

ParticipantBOOM! Yes Marc! Great examples!
I’ll have to craft some new Elevator pitches but to start…
These are some one-liners I’ve used in elevators and grocery stores and other public settings when people start conversations with me. They have produced results.I help people eliminate everything that has been blocking them in the past so that they can create a successful, more fulfilling, more compelling life for themselves!
You want to create your dream life? Great! That’s EXACTLY what I help my clients do!
What is the difference between a skilled coach who sits on the couch and thinks about getting clients and a skilled coach who sits in front of thousands of clients? The one who works with me never sits on the couch. Are you interested, yes or no?
Some people use medication to help their anxiety, smart people use Time Line Therapy(r).

ParticipantHey Deb! Great pitches. I gotta give credit where credit is due…for Business Consulting and Sales Trainings opportunities we modeled Tad’s Profitability Consulting pitch (“we help businesses make a lot of money in a short period of time…is that something you are interested in or not”). It works! One of the other pitches we developed which was more for developmental coaching or executive coaching was: “Hi! We’re Stephane and Shalee Schafeitel and we help people get from where they’re at to where they want to be in a short period of time. Is that something you would be interested in or not?” This one works very well!

KeymasterDeb, these are really good. Everyone of them incited my curiosity. I put myself in the position of someone hearing it coming out of your mouth and it was good.
The one with “we help businesses make a lot of money in a short amount of time” is Tad’s line from Profitability Consulting. “Hi I’m Tad James from Profitability Consulting and we help businesses make a lot of money in a short amount of time. Are you interested in it or not?” It was the “or not” that did the trick as it allowed people to say no and so Tad got rid of all the low probability clients immediately. In this way he did not waste any time with people who were not high probability clients. (Time and energy are the most valuable commodities you have, remember?)
Now the one for women did not hit me as positively as the others. From my perspective I need more time to do more of what I want to do not to slow down to go faster. But I admit, I am a little “unusual”. Just feedback. It does not mean it won’t work with other women.
Anyway, try them out again and again, and begin to notice specifically what groups of people respond best to what pitch. And if they don’t respond well to one, immediately fire it at them differently. Again and again until you get the results you want.
I hope this helps. -

ParticipantHi everyone. Thanks for sharing your pitches. They are very powerful and inspiring especially the ones with the 100% grantee of success, work smarter not harder to mention just a few of them.
By the way, Deb, just out of curiosity, is there any specific guarantee you are offering or is it just a compelling element in the sales pitch? :))Here is what I have put together and what I already use with clients. Also writing them down, helped me clarify some other elements related to my niche.
I help women free up time to do more of what they want and to lead a happier and more fulfilling life. I guarantee your success and sustainable results for your future!
I help people free themselves from the past and get their energy and passion back to build the future of their own choice.
I often meet and work with people who find it difficult to cope with the complexity and pressure in their jobs. Well, I teach them how to work smarter, not harder and how to focus their time and energy on what is truly important for them to achieve in that role, meet their objectives and become successful. Are you interested or not?
Many times teams don’t produce the results they are expected to because of misalignment among team members. This is where I step in and help them break through any limitation or obstacle leveraging the mindset of success and the latest technologies in driving team empowerment. I guarantee team success 100% and sustainable, positive mindset change.
I work with people of all ages to boost their self confidence, help them move out of their comfort zones and become the best version of themselves.
I support people in getting unstuck in their lives and finding the motivation to move on to make their dreams of happiness and success a reality.
I help people release the stress caused by their jobs and find meaningful resources to work smarter not harder and to create the life balance they always wanted.
I help people overcome mental barriers and build trust in themselves and have success in their careers.I often meet clients who find it difficult to express what they think or what they feel for fear of not hurting or being hurt. So what I do is that I help them completely transform their mindset and empower them to become more assertive in expressing themselves and their point of view, be it at work or with their friends and family members, and hence regaining control of their life and their happiness.
I successfully help people not only overcome the fear of public speaking but most importantly become a charismatic presenter or trainer who attracts lots of people in their seminars and presentations.
These days companies put a lot of emphases and demand executive presence and excellent presentation skills from their leaders. Well I work with these leaders leveraging the mindset of success to help them break through their limitations and empower them to become a master of business presentations selling multi dollar projects for their company.
You know how difficult it is sometimes to manage your children especially when you are already under a lot of stress. Well I help mothers regain their mental strength and teach them how to be in control of the situations, without losing their energy or temper. I help them become empowered by using the right communication techniques that will allow them to connect quickly and effectively with their kids.
I help companies increase the motivation and the well being of their employees to improve their results and drive profitability.

KeymasterI like those. They sound good on the paper. As in my answer to Deb, now you need to run them again and again whenever you have an opportunity and see what works best for what person. Judge quickly the VL of that person in front of you and be willing to switch to another pitch mid-stream.
In other words, repeat them so many times that you can say them in your sleep to any person. They will become you and part of who you are. That’s the goal. It’s not hard as you know that what you claim you can achieve and it is true so congruency is there. And at unconscious level your congruency will go through.

ParticipantHi Cristina,
The guarantee is the the outcome or result they want. AND depending what the outcome is, when I do a discovery, I manage their expectations. I know that they will get results by coming to our training or do coaching, if they are my target client. Yes it does come up in conversation, and what I say is.. “we only work with people that want to get results and are willing to do what ever it takes.” In coaching this is easy because they sign a contract that state the result are on them doing what ever it take in terms of tasking and taking action and we as coaches will work with them until they get result. We we put it out there when we are doing the discovery, that we wont work with you if it is not a good fit. Same things goes for training.
Hope I answered your question
If now let me know:)

ParticipantHi Everyone,
I posted reply last week and I guess it didn’t go through…Adriana Thank you so much for your valuable feedback. I will try it differently and see which one get result depending who I am speaking too.
The last week I have been feeling that we need to expand our audience. Most of the people we are getting in front of at these networking events are not our target audience. They are operating at a VL2-3- 4. The successful VL3 don’t see the value is personal growth and development. The VL4 are struggling with money, or there cup is full with Religion. I can reframe all day long and at the same time I don’t want to waste my time. I think is is time to do Cold calls. SO when Tad called business and did his pitch “Hi I’m Tad James from Profitability Consulting and we help businesses make a lot of money in a short amount of time. Are you interested in it or not?” when they say yes I am interested. Then would he go right into asking question or would he go into a mind-read (Depending on the business) You know how…..Problem Problem Problem, So what we do….(format) of both?
🙂 Deb

ParticipantThank you, Adriana and Deb, for your feedback and answers . It helps a lot. The reason I am asking about the guarantee is because I have seen coaches on the market who guarantee money back if the process is not working for the client in the first X sessions. However I think your approach with having them sign a contract and committing to the process is much more empowering for the person. And if they don’t change, that’s their
And Deb, I have the same challenge with most of the people being VL3, VL4 (and I understand whether we like it or not that this is the reality) making the same excuses about not having enough money or time or cup full of religion. I even began to ask myself about me, what is it that I don’t get about religion and these people, what do I project onto them besides the fact that I get irritated listening to them how they are waiting for God to solve their problems… And now being Easter time, I think their connection with God is at its highest as it is one of the most emotional religious events throughout the year and maybe they do Rapport with all the things that Jesus went through and came to the conclusion that suffering is something they must do as well in order to secure their seat in Heaven. Will see how they do once Easter vibe is gone :)) I am just doing a mind read but hopefully one day I will understand better.
One of the things I realized throughout the selling process is that (at least for me) sometimes it takes more time, and what I changed was instead of me doing my speech over and over again, I need actually to give them more time and listen to them, give them the chance to express more of their problems, find common ground, create more trust and in the end a more solid connection. I am experimenting this and will see what happens.
Another thing I realized is that waiting for all your clients to come from intros or FB adds which is in my focus let’s say now etc is like putting all my eggs in the same basket and closing the door on opportunities that might come from other channels. I decided to do more selling channels in parallel and see which one produces results. Surely I still have a lot of things to clear up about myself, my projections, my niche, my business and testing more things might give me more relevant answers than just waiting for one single thing to produce results.
Speak to you soon!-

ParticipantCristina and Deb,
I have success working with religious people when I switch into the mode of helping them to focus in on the coaching aspect of the NLP training.
I usually ask if it’s part of their religious/spiritual path to help individuals in the same way that Jesus has helped them. If they say yes, then I open up the conversation in the direction of them learning tools to help others who may or may not ever encounter having a spiritual awakening through the Lord/Jesus/God. (I use as many religious words as I know to respect their MOW)
Then if they’re open to hearing more I let them know that there are many people in this world who are suffering because of their negative emotions and limiting beliefs. From what I know about God, God doesn’t judge if I’m helping someone through their emotional healing via NLP, TLT, or Hypnosis. God doesn’t judge if I’m helping someone no matter their race, religion, age, or gender. Some people may never walk into a house of God to seek help. But what if you could help all of God’s children who needed help and wanted it and do it with a set of tools that work for anyone regardless of their spiritual beliefs. Would that be aligned with your spiritual purpose/path, yes or no?
I have had most success with that type of talk track. Many people realize that the God they follow doesn’t discriminate against humanity.
People who are suffering need help and if these tools can help, how do they know God didn’t put them on YOUR path to show them the way through your NLP Coaching training.

ParticipantHi Cristina and Laura,
You are both right. Thank you for the useful reframes. One of the things I am working on is being patient in my sales cycle. AND at the same time know where the prospect is in the change state indicator, and are they open, arrested and closed. If they are in A, move and come back when they are at B or C and if they are closed don’t even bother. It boils down to more pre- Qualification.
Question Christina, how are the FB adds working we haven’t done any marketing on FB?

Stephane Schafeitel
ParticipantOne of our favorite pitches, which is more for developmental coaching or executive coaching is: “Hi! We’re Stephane and Shalee Schafeitel and we help people get from where they’re at to where they want to be in a very short period of time. We have a 100% success rate and we guarantee results. Is that something you would be interested in or not?” This works for us in most (not all though) contexts.
For couples coaching we would say: “Hi! We’re Stephane and Shalee Schafeitel and we help couples get from where they’re at in their relationship to where they want to be in a very short period of time. We have a 100% success rate and we guarantee results. Is that something you would be interested in or not?”
Most of the time, we would shift the context within our pitch mentioned above, so it rolled off the tongue smoothly and consistently every time. Here’s the generic version: “Hi! We’re Stephane and Shalee Schafeitel and we help people get from where they’re at in their (insert context) to where they want to be in a very short period of time. We have a 100% success rate and we guarantee results. Is that something you would be interested in or not?”
Specifically for sales coaching, sales training, business coaching or business consulting we modeled Tad’s consulting pitch, as stated a few times above. “Hi! We’re Stephane and Shalee Schafeitel and we help businesses (or “people” when speaking to business & sales coaching prospects) make a lot of money in a very short period of time. We have a 100% success rate and we guarantee results.” It works really well.
Because we followed the “When is a client a client” criteria from the Practitioner training and Master Prac and did extensive tasking before taking on clients…we started off and still have a 100% success rate with our clients. So, we included that in all of our pitches. We also guarantee our work and would actually stick by that and work with people for free on us for an hour or two (or whatever was necessary) until they got the result. This rarely happened though and when it did, the client would become REALLY happy and refer a lot of new opportunities to us.

KeymasterHi Lynn, in general they sound good. Run them live with people and see if and what kind of reaction you get. As you practice them live, you will change a word here and there if necessary until you get the results you want (I.e. The reaction you want from people which is immediate interest).
A little feedback if I may about this one:
“I help corporate teams resolve conflicts, align their values and create success using the latest mind strategies and techniques. is this something your company would be interested in or not?”Reading it and putting myself in the position of your customer and hearing this, I am not motivated as something is missing. After the words “strategies and techniques” I would add something like “leading to much better revenue, retention and team work”. Read also the answer I gave Cristina about the use of words in the forum called “Project No 8 – Ongoing until complete” The use of language patterns in creating your elevator pitch is extremely valuable.
Let me know how it goes. -

ParticipantHere is how to think about this: features Vs benefits. Your elevator pitch example Adriana talked about is mostly features without the addon Adriana suggested. It has to be benefits. In other words, what’s in it for me the potential customer. The fact that you use the latest mind strategies is good only that it is mostly a feature. Focus on benefits and you’ll get a better response.
In the other examples you give, you have more benefits which is very good. Try them out. There is no better way of knowing whether they work or not than trying them live with people. -

KeymasterNumber 3 “I take you from believing you have no choices….” starts well but it is not leading me anywhere to be motivated to know more. At least not for me. It kind of fizzles out. Change the ending of that one so it make me really interested.
The rest I like and I would go for it. I certainly what to know more, which is exactly what you want as a response so you can start a conversation. Keep going. You’re doing good. Develope variants of these and run them live with people for the purpose of noticing the response. Change one word here and there until you get exactly the response you are after.

KeymasterSandra, what if you chunk down in all your examples and give people something more specific they can hang their hats onto? I think your pitches are little too chunked up, too abstract for most people to relate to. What do people want? Especially in your area? The answer is the same as in what in values we call their “needs and concerns”. So, according to the VL of the community to which you appeal, their needs will be less abstract (I promise you that).
This is your entry-into-a-conversation line. it has to take people from where they are. I think you are correct in what you say, you will do all you mentioned, however, non-NLP people, common folks on the street usually do not relate so well to abstract talk and they find it difficult to chunk themselves down from what you say, or chunk themselves up from their needs to what you say (either one). They may not even ask you “how specifically do you do that?” which will be (for us) the logical question to ask if they’re interested.
That’s just my opinion in general looking on how the general population thinks. Chunked down. Specific to the point of nausea, compartmentalized and linear. Keep in mind that I doh’t know who are you talking to and what people are you targeting.
Anyway, one sure way to find out is to try it and see if you get results. If you do, keep what works. If you don’t, tweak it, and tweak it again until you get the light bulb come on and questions coming back at you – in other words, you hit the nail on the head and you elicited an interest from the person you’re addressing. -

Hi. It’s Annie Kesterton here. This is a courtesy call as I wanted to let you know that I will no longer be seeing people for massage therapy. I will be continuing dry needling treatments ongoingly if you have specific myofascial pain. You may or may not realise that I am passionate about finding and releasing resistance. My objective in Dry Needling is to release myofascial resistance. I release resistance in the horses I train. I release resistance in the riders I teach and between riders and their horses. I also find and release the resistance people have toward taking action to create what they want in areas of life that are important to them.
Is there any area of your life that is important to you and is not going exactly how you would like? Would you be interested in finding out more on the Personal Evolution Coaching and Personal Leadership Trainings and seminars that I offer?

I have a 2 day Personal Leadership Seminar (scyf) coming up on 21&22 July. It will enable you to identify and eliminate everything that is holding you back (in the area they said) and give you the power to make personal changes quickly and easily. And I am offering my loyal customers like you, 50% off if you book and pay in full this weekend. That will be $250 instead of $500 and includes lunch. I am also happy to offer this discount to anyone you would like to bring. I can take cc over the phone now if you like.

KeymasterToo long. Keep the part starting with “That will be $250….” for handling objections. And I am referring here at the 5 step sales process. Otherwise it looks/sounds/feels like you’re too desperate and operating out of a need. Always keep in mind at what step are you in the 5 step sales process. Building rapport? Finding the need? Linking the need to what you offer? Closing? Handling objections? Short and sweet works best. If necessary -I.e. If they don’t get it – repeat the what you just said again. Do not allow them to get overwhelmed by details all at once. Confusion leads to no sale.

I help facilitate women to develop bulletproof communication skills, to have them assertive and getting what they want out of life. Would you be interested in that? Or not
I help women go from a place of feeling stuck to creating motivation, direction, purpose and living a life they love. Does that resonate with you?
I teach horsewomen how to become powerful leaders of themselves to get to the results they want for themselves in their riding and in life. Would you be interested in that, Or not?

KeymasterPersonally, I like those. But here is the deal: try them with people and notice the results. You get interest? Great! Keep it that way and run it agai and again. You don’t? Tweak it until you do. See in how many different ways you can say the same thing until the person in front of you lights up and begins asking more questions about what you do. This is the response you’re after. It’s a trial game depending on the VL and concerns of the people you talk to. Something may work really well with one person but not so well with others. So this is why it is a good idea to see in how many ways you can say the same thing, to communicate the same short message so you have a bunch of ways to express the elevator pitch. Remember – results are all that matters.

ParticipantHello,
this was an exciting project.
In regards to this, I do have a question.
1. I teach people mindset and communication strategies to become more confident communicators in their career and relationships
2. I help people become empowered and authentic influencers through mindset, purpose and heart. Is that something you good benefit from or not?
3. I help business owners get clarity on their purpose increasing profits, customer loyalty and employee engagement.
4. I help people communicate effectively and confidently increasing opportunities for creating personal and professional relationships.
5. I help people who feel at crossroads in their career, discover their purpose and strengths leading to confidence to make important career decisions.
6. I help people who feel they are underperforming in their career, make more confident decisions that are aligned with their personal vision.
7. I teach people how to grow their business through mindset and purpose increasing performance, customer loyalty and profitability
8. I teach people how to improve their health, wealth and career through mindset and purpose increasing financial freedom and happiness
9. I help Gen X/ Gen Y people who feel they underperforming compared to their younger peers, discover their purpose for longevity, health, wealth and happiness.

ParticipantSo the question is that sometimes I feel selling on the emotions of confidence, happiness, freedom etc becomes a bit “fluffy” a bit weak.
what is your take on marketing coaching services etc. Is it about the emotions or is it about outcomes? Or is there a balance?
Thanks very much.

KeymasterIt is about what works.
Selling is based on fulfilling of a need. This need can be emotional, financial, economic, relationships, educational, you name it. This is why, as descriptive as you need to be about your business, always sell on a need. Therefore you want to assess the needs of the people you are marking to, make a broad generalizatio, adapt it to your business, and then use that in your elevator pitch. The values levels of the people you market to, again as a broad generalization is also important. Of course, individuals will have different VL, however you can make a generalization to finalize an elevator pitch for yourself. This assessment will give you an even greater insight about the needs and concerns present.
This is why you need to be prepared to have this elevator pitch delivered in many different versions and be able to change it on a fly. In how many ways you can say the same main idea addressing emotional needs, economic needs, family needs, children’s needs…etc.
We’re coming back to the basic presupposition – people with most flexibility of behavior (and language skills) control the system.
I hoe this helps a little to give you some idea as to how to proceed.-

ParticipantI have always struggled to find a step in point for my business. but I have got it now. it also means I need to reassess my target audience.
my new audience:
my initial approach is to target people who do job interviews, young career professionals between the age of 25 and 35. very different but I am feeling EXCITED about it.but I can also teach the same thing to people who recruit people as well as people who need to pitch their businesses and their ideas (small business owners and start ups), but I am going to focus on the younger generation. here are my pitches (which include pitches for the other two sub groups.
I teach job seekers how to communicate with confidence during job interviews
I help recruiters/ small business owners improve their interview skills (note not my favourite is feels it focuses on “features”)
I teach job hunters how to be confident during job interviews
I help job hunters look act and feel confident during job interviews
I teach job seekers how to look act and feel confident during job interviews
I teach recruiters how to spot honest and authentic candidates during interviews
I teach small business owners how to spot…..
I teach small business owners and start ups how to look act and feel confident when pitching their ideas and presenting their business
the only thing I am wondering is whether I change the word job seeker/ hunter to something else???
I go between teach and help would there be a preference from a language point of view?
love your feedback
always with gratitude

ModeratorHi Adriana and everyone pitching in with their great elevator pitches… thank you
This is a great project indeed!
My approach is that not everyone will connect with one pitch so I want to be flexible.
The first example is from a networking event (never met the people before) and we were asked to introduce ourselves and what we do. It was November. I prefer to wait to hear what others say and watch the body language of the people listening…
“If I showed you a way to achieve the rest of this year’s goals and set yourself up for future success, would you want to know how? My name is Gina Palmer from Minds Tomorrow and I look forward to talking with you today.”
Reaction: two people (there were 14 there) came up to me straight after and asked to meet with me. Another contacted me via email for help.
In other contexts, I watch and listen to what the other person says/does so that I can get into rapport with that person otherwise what I say can go in one ear and out the other…here are some other examples I use…
“Thank you for your business card, you will definitely want to know that I can help you to transform your business starting now…are you interested or not?
“hello, my name is Gina Palmer from Minds Tomorrow and I can help you to achieve what you want in your life starting now, are you interested or not?
“Hello, my name is Gina Palmer from Minds Tomorrow and my purpose is to help you achieve positive change for life and that is something you want don’t you…
“hello, my name is Gina Palmer from Minds Tomorrow and I’m here to help you live the life you know you want and we can start right now or tomorrow at 9am.
“hello, my name is Gina Palmer from Minds Tomorrow, is it fair enough to say that you want your business to make profit year on year? That’s right, all business owners want that don’t they… and I can help you to achieve that profit, do you feel this is something you want or not?
“hello, my name is Gina Palmer from Minds Tomorrow and I totally appreciate that you want to achieve your ideal weight which is why you can always feel 100% confident working with me, and we can start now or at 9am tomorrow morning.
Look forward to feedback and thank you. Gina

KeymasterGina,
I delayed answering as I was running through my head your examples and trying them on. Let’s see now:
<<< My approach is that not everyone will connect with one pitch so I want to be flexible. Correct. You need to have a few around the same idea.
Another contacted me via email for help.Good, so keep this one. Run it again.
This one … Hmmm… I am not very motivated to do anything about. It just kind of passes by me
>>>>>“hello, my name is Gina Palmer from Minds Tomorrow and I can help you to achieve what you want in your life starting now, are you interested or not?
This one could work, but I feel is too chunked up. In general people are interested in more specific chunked down day-to-day mundane things.
>>>>>>“Hello, my name is Gina Palmer from Minds Tomorrow and my purpose is to help you achieve positive change for life and that is something you want don’t you…
Don’t you what? I need completion to that sentence ?
>>>>>>>“hello, my name is Gina Palmer from Minds Tomorrow and I’m here to help you live the life you know you want and we can start right now or tomorrow at 9am.
Uh! That’s already giving them a double bind. I suppose this one comes after a little introduction of some sort, right?
>>>>>>“hello, my name is Gina Palmer from Minds Tomorrow, is it fair enough to say that you want your business to make profit year on year? That’s right, all business owners want that don’t they… and I can help you to achieve that profit, do you feel this is something you want or not?
This one is gooood. Just introduce something after the words “achieve that profit” like for example “this is what I specialize in” and then continue with “do you feel this is something …”
>>>>> “hello, my name is Gina Palmer from Minds Tomorrow and I totally appreciate that you want to achieve your ideal weight which is why you can always feel 100% confident working with me, and we can start now or at 9am tomorrow morning.
This one looks/sounds/feels good too. Did you run it live already?
Always my advice is to try them with as many people as you can. Have them roll out your tongue like it is the most congruent thing you’ve ever said in your entire life.
Let me know how it goes please.
This is great stuff!!! -

ParticipantDo you know how newly single women often struggle financially as well as emotionally after a divorce, tragedy or break-up? Well, I assist them to attract and make more money by helping them find a profound sense of self -worth and giving them a specific set of tools, to create financial abundance so that they never need to depend on debt, parents or bad relationships for money. They will always be able to make their own.
This elevator pitch works for me, people think of people to refer me to and people ask if I can help them with profound self-worth as well. I need to use it more to get even better results.

ModeratorHi Leslie
I just read your post. I really like what you say and thanks for sharing. What I like in particular is that it is so true. I meet women who say “Oh, I’ve been through the cleaners after my divorce and have nothing…” so good on you. This problem occurs across the world and for some reason people get a mindset that they are ‘broken’ post whatever has happened to them and that is not the case at all.
Thanks for sharing! Gina

ParticipantI wrote two other pitches as well as my newly single elevator pitch:
[Mothers]
Do you know how women often struggle with self-worth which stops them from teaching their children healthy self-worth and boundaries? Well, I help them create profound selfworth and the tools to change all of their family dynamics.[Unemployed Women]
Do you know how some women looking for a job get a little lost in the details of it all and wonder when negotiating for salary if they should settle for a lot less than they think they’re worth just to land a job? Well I help them know their worth and communicate it clearly so that they can negotiate the best starting pay meaning they will have more income for years to come and be able to plan for their financial independence easier.-

KeymasterLeslie, this is good.
Only one little problem. The elevator pitch should be about 20 words so you can say it in one breath. For example in the second elevator pitch you posted you can use the second line only in this fashion.
Hi, I am Leslie from [name of your Company/business] and I help [women] know their worth and communicate it clearly so that they can negotiate the best starting pay [to reach] their financial independence easier.
Just a sugestion….
Try it live and see what results you get.

KeymasterGen,
Right away, the following 2 pitches, if you were to cold call me (assuming you’d say you were a Coach/Consultant) I’d want to hear more.
~“I work intensively, over a relatively short period of time and guarantee that my clients will get the results that they want.”
~“I teach people how to excel in their communication with others to get the results that they want.”For a couple on the list, the word support doesn’t tell me you’re ‘selling’ something or offering a service that requires an exchange of money. Maybe just in the States ‘support’ suggests more of a volunteer or donation based situation. Not sure if this is the same in AU…but check the language for the response you may get.
Below, I took 2 of yours and made them a bit spicy 😉 just to see what you can do to heat it up a bit.
~“I support anyone who is 100% committed to experiencing life with purpose, passion and integrity.”
As a Coach, I support everyone who is 100% committed to experiencing life with purpose, passion and integrity; getting them to a place where they can boldly live that way for the rest of their lives, is what I can promise them professionally 🙂~“I support individuals who are dissatisfied with their life to find meaning and purpose.”
(I’m seeing this next one more of something you’d say at a live networking event not a cold call…)
“I Coach people who are generally dissatisfied with their lives. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t support all individuals like this….just the ones who are willing to do whatever it takes to change that dissatisfaction into passion and purpose!”

KeymasterNaturally, Elevator Pitches evolve the more you speak them out and you see what feels aligned with your personality and what sticks/leaves an impression with your audience.
Writing them down like this just give your mind the flexibility of choice and previous rehearsal. When you’re live on the spot you’ll probably realize that you’ve made a hybrid of 3 pitches and you’d have been glad you did this exercise.
That’s how it works for me.Some people won’t even open their mouth if they didn’t memorize a small paragraph. This is about preparation and knowing yourself to set yourself up for success!

ParticipantLike I’ve read above, I have a few versions depending on who I’m talking to and the context in which I’m speaking, however…
Here’s one version i use…
I teach people how to use language… spoken and unspoken, to reprogram their minds so that they can be at the source of their lives (instead of the effect), be their highest state of excellence & live a created life (rather than an inherited one)
Here’s another…
I help people eliminate unconscious the negative emotions, limiting beliefs, and internal obstacles that hold them back, so that they can be at the source of their lives (instead of the effect), be their highest state of excellence & live a created life (rather than an inherited one) every day of their life.
As I come up with others I frequently use, I will add them here. Would love feedback!

ModeratorHi Maiysha
Ahhh – you are working on this project! Great!
Well done on working on the elevator pitch…. one tactic Adriana has us doing is say the elevator pitch out loud and listen to it…. what do you feel, hear and see? Do you feel motivated to pick up the phone and call you (well, you know what I mean). Back in 2019, Adriana shared with another trainer the following:
“The elevator pitch should be about 20 words so you can say it in one breath. and with all the elevator pitches you develop, test, test, test with people you know – it helps a lot!!
Here are some suggestions to play with – see how you feel about it (I may not have got your essence into the pitch)
“Hi my name is Maiysha from (your business name) and I help people to get rid of the internal obstacles that hold them back, so they can successfully live their created life every day. Are you interested?”
or “Hi, my name is Maiysha from (business name) and I teach people who are 100% committed to a life of excellence live their own created life. Are you ready for a life you create?
Just suggestions to play with.
Great that you are working through these!
My best wishes to you, Gina 🙂
