We have discovered first hand that rapport can diffuse unexpected reactions from others and also result in laughter and help from others in non-English speaking countries. I know you know that rapport makes a positive difference and heightens communication – it’s when you are in the depths of mountainous villages where you can have a good laugh with the locals – just using rapport. Watch the video and find out…
Now, to add to the rapport experience for those of us who come across people who believe that there is only one way to achieve human capital development in organisations and that is through in-house professional development programs designed to inculcate a culture of ‘follow the rules’ and don’t do anything else, human capital development in my view, can be fostered a number of functional ways. Effective communication for example, can be fine tuned through NLP communication model…as one example. Here is an article that I found that has good information about human capital development and NLP. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/334715282_Implementing_the_Concept_of_Neurolinguistic_Programming_Related_to_Sustainable_Human_Capital_Development!
