Ring of Power – Music Suggestions

Hi all, I am going to use the “Ring of Power” exercise to a group on Wednesday. Let me know your preferred music for this exercise. Orchestral? Dance? What sort of success have you had with different groups? Tailor for different audiences?

Haven’t tried it yet but Happy by Pharrell just came to mind as a fun one ? Because I’m happyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. That’s a lack of referential index btw… I think ? And a cause and effect. And so you can, and you will. I know it ??

Ok that’s not a lack of referential index btw so delete that. It is a cause and effect missing the effect, just has the cause. So I don’t know what that would be other than a simple deletion.

Pick a couple good songs and do some states in silence just guiding them through the state elicitation script, using your voice/ your state to get them into state. Some of these people will come back to your Practitioner training so it’s good to think about what their perception will be in Prac….(you don’t want them to think they NEED music to do state elicitation…this is just a bells-n-whistles type of intro )
I know it was my suggestion, just wanted to clarify my thinking behind it as well 🙂
And I always pick a good progressive dance beat makes a good suggestion to let the state build !

what type of people are they and what do you think they listen to get fired up? pick a few songs with words also some instrumental and trance is good. again who is the audience? how old are they? you could test it to see the response.

I know the ring of power didnt eventuate because you had to adjust to the group that you had but I would love to get some feedback on how the talk did go so that we can all learn and discuss how it went 🙂
