ParticipantThank you again for your helpful input regarding the presentation I had this past weekend with a group of ex-CEOs. It was a success (I received excellent feedback) and two of them have asked to work with me one-on-one.
As I mentioned by email, I am very grateful for the ongoing support that you and the rest of the TJC team offers. In fact, my sessions with Laura Petrie and Deb Yager over the past couple of years have been invaluable. I had a conversation with Deb Heslin yesterday regarding a client that was coming in with a severe phobia of driving on highways. She had not driven on a highway since she was in college (about 25 years). As Deb suggested, I elicited the client’s strategy and used Logical Levels in Sequential Coaching to scramble it. I then did Time Line Therapy™ Negative Emotions #1 on this specific fear and then the Phobia Model (because she still felt some fear left after we did Neg. Emotions #1). The whole process, including reframing, took about 40 minutes. It was a success and she drove back home on the highway 🙂 Thank you Deb!
I had a conversation this morning with the Chair of a group of 9 execs who work at a cyber security company. Their biggest issue is that they are not working collaboratively. They would like my help to help the group get melded together so that they are moving in the same direction. I told the Chair that I can do values work with the group to help them get aligned. The problem is I have not yet done that type of work (I guessed that a half-day session would be enough). I have purchased the NLP Coaching Trainer’s Training program and will soon focus on that…I understand that I will learn how to do this type of work when I see that. In the meantime, can you please share some basic/brief info regarding the process and how much time I will actually need with the group? I need to follow up in the next couple of days with that information. Also, if you have other ideas of what I could do to help them (perhaps even instead of values work), I am open to suggestions. Thank you!

ParticipantHello Vered!! Thank you for the update 🙂
You are doing amazing work!I’d like to refer you to your Master Prac manual, Values section 3 page 26 for the full step by step process of Corporate Values Alignment.
Also going through your training DVDs will be invaluable as well.
Start here, understand the flow and the format and the why behind every step. Map out how you’re going to ‘sell’ this idea to them and how you’re going to structure it based on the amount of time needed and how many people you have in this company.
Go through the process of what you think you’ll need to do first.
Then post here for pointers if you’re not clear.I think you’ll find that you will totally understand how to do this and how it will work for the group you will be working with 🙂
Good to see you!!
