The Zoom Webinar No. 5 is a Q&A session.

Most people in the Master Trainer Program end up with questions that are not answered. It’s not because they don’t get answers to their questions but because many people don’t know what questions to formulate.

This webinar will allow you to see your questions get answered. We took any questions you wanted to ask related to the Projects posted so far or anything else regarding the MT Program, Training, or Coaching.

Your questions will be like everybody else’s, so use this as an opportunity to get moving and started.

This webinar was be moderated by Laura Petrie.

Hi Laura – just a quick question as I’m new here. Is the Q&A session on anything related to NLP/TLTH/Coaching/Business or is there a specific format/topic? Thanks very much.

Hi Laura & TJC Co team,

      Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the opportunity to ask questions!

1)Regarding Time Line Therapy(R) section, one of my student from my first Practitioner, he wasn’t able to associate well and to do the exercises accurately. He is a business owner, a strong Ad and he hardly discovered his time line. I teach them the Prime Directives of The Unconscious Mind, and all the needed reframings. Could you please advice me, the best way to cope in these situations?

2)And I want to do with his team, 2 managers, Business team Values alignment – I read the theory from Master Prac and Time Line Therapy And The Basis of Personality, By Tad James and Wyatt Woodsmall. As Adriana’s feedback from project 1, I will elicit also their Metaprograms.
Could you please give some examples or practical tips… it is the first time…. I am convinced that it will be a great success.

      3) Also I have a kind request for future webinars, to start 1-2 hrs earlier. With the current timing, it starts at 1 am in Romania (the next day I will go to the job, at 8 o’clock). I think 2 hrs earlier would work fine for all time zones.

      Thank you!
      Mihaela

      Hi Laura,

I’m seeking a definitive response as to what from a TJC perspective is the prescribed/deemed relevant to be the steps and process for those wanting to do TLT with groups (as in the SOCYF weekend). I’ve assisted at some of the trainings but yet to do assist at a SOCYF weekend.

With certification for NLP Prac, MP Prac, TLT Prac Trainer’s Training certification etc the path is clear.
I know that mention is made of doing a transcription of the SOCYF mentioned audio.

Any light that you can shed on the aforementioned that provides “the path” (if such a path in fact exists) and any expectations would be most welcome.

      thanks,
      Rob.

Hey Laura, awesome and thanks for the opportunity to ask some questions. I have 2 that are client related I’d like to get an opinion on.

1 – at an event I was assisting in we had a client who released anger at position 3 on the NE1 script but the anger showed up again in position 4. This repeated itself 3-4 times even though we got new learnings. Eventually the client claimed that the emotion was gone in position 4 but I was not convinced. Have you encountered this before and what would you recommend?

2- I’m considering taking on a client. 17 years old exhibiting symptoms of what might be labelled as schizophrenia. It’s a delicate situation as I’ve never worked with someone in this way. Is there any advice with working (or not working) with someone with this potential challenge. My concern is that he believes that the world is not real and therefore by extension the work we do is not real. Would this impact his ability to get the benefits? Tough situation.

      Thanks very much Laura.

      Hi Laura

This will be the first TJC webinar I have attended.

I have run 3 SCYF type seminars and recently completed my first prac with one student. And have 2 booked into my next prac in December.

I am wanting to do some short 90 minute introductions. My target is middle aged rural women who are at a transition point on their lives. My aim is to have them sign up for coaching, seminars and trainings. I see in the back of the prac manual a bit of a guideline. Modalities, Eye movements, Rapport, Predicates, Accessing positive states, Anchoring and Strategies. I would like some specific advise of what works and what doesn’t.

Looking forward to hearing from your expertise and experience

      Annie

        Hi Laura

How does one install the strategy of recognizing or labeling emotions for the pain paradigm? My client is highly dissociated. When asked – what emotion are you feeling – he says ‘normal’. He cannot verbalize any sensations either. I strongly suspect secondary gain – but assuming the absence of that – what would the process of recognizing sensation / labeling sensation be? Thank you!

      Hola Laura:

Currently I am focused on structuring my business in PR, as NLP coach for individuals and small business. As my 2019 goals, I will like to launch the Spanish version of TSOCY™ (redesigned of course). In addition, I want to translate some of the material from the Prac. and Master Prac., and NLP for Business, to start my own seminars for the general population and/or business (I already contacted Candace for the legal advice in these regards). As for the certifications (Prac. & Master Prac.), I don’t see them starting until late 2020.

Having this plan, and since I haven’t taken TSOCY™ training, is there any coaching assistance possibility? Would coaching in a Prac. training close enough for having behind the scene experience?

      Thanks in advance!

      Hola Laura:
Thanks for clarify the intention behind the training TSOCYF… very enlighten for me… and because of that, I am now reevaluating the strategy and will start the certifications sooner. I currently have few people interested in being certified as NLP coaches. Since I have not clarified yet the Spanish translation legal impact, is it OK to use the material in English and for me to present in Spanish (in PR we are used to it, is called Spanglish!)?
Can it be done in modules instead (two days/week ends)? Have anyone done it before? What’s your advice?
      Thanks for your help!
      Wanda

You can use the material for teaching purposes providing that the copyright of the trademark stays visible and correct. Meaning, you can out your company name in th footer, but on the first page you need to have somewhere written “used with permission, copyright (c) The Tad James Co, Tad and Adriana James.”

SCYF type seminars are best done over the weekend. You don’t get to build rapport sufficiently with people on modules plus the seminar gets too fragmented.
The only purpose you would do such a weekend seminar is to use it as a intro to your larger trainings – I.e. The NLP practitioner. Fragmenting it in too small chunks will not produce these results.

It is a little unclear in your question whether you refer to the modules for DCYF weekend or your NLP Prac., as you mention first SCYF and then talk about the Prac.

So let me adress that one too. The Practitioner training can be done in segments. For instance you can use Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday 4 or 5 weeks in a row. The problem with teaching it this way is that you will have to spend every Friday evening mostly to remind peoole where you were the week before. And you have to give them some sort of homework during the week to keep them involved. So, you’ll have to backtrack quite a bit. I have taken my NLP Practiitoner over weekends and I can tell you that from a week to the other I could not remember much. Life keeps people busy with other things.
Another thing that can happen is that people may drop out. They’re busy over the weekend with other things. But even that can be mostly avoided if you set it up correctly from the beginning and then use the weekly homework to keep people interested and excited about their results using the techniques you taught.

But on the other hand, if most people have trouble getting time off work, it is an alternative which is doable and it could work quite well.
