I was doing some reading about neuroscience studies looking at the affect of language and conversations.
The subjects were being monitored by an FMRI during the activities so they could see the brain activity during the activity, and they were mouth swabbing the subject to identify the biochemical their bodies were secreting during the activity. The reason I am mentioning this here is because they identified that Dopamine was also a response during times of exploration, desire, motivation, curiosity, and anticipation.
The study showed that during challenging types of conversations, the body was flooded with Cortisol, Adrenaline, and Noradrenaline, and the brain activity largely remained in the reptilian and limbic brain, and was ruled by the Amygdala.
When the type of conversation became engaging and inclusive, the brain responded with Dopamine, Oxytocin, Endorphins, Serotonin and depending on the transition or the environment GABA – and the FMRI showed the difference with the activity moving through the Neocortex into the Prefrontal Cortex.
The words you use when you speak with yourself and others have an immense power in being able to either engage or disengage.
I hope this is helpful to someone.

ParticipantExcept in this current modern lunacy it seems to be anyone that speaks facts is being called an authoritarian, ultra conservative, or a nazi.
And she should have insisted on a little over $20 million USD if we are just going to start putting numbers together…

ParticipantIt is a great laugh and so true for so many…
I tend to watch podcasts, interviews and lectures that range from 1-3 hours, so this is a blip…
The only time I checked the time was to see if it was presented as one time, and was actually much longer because it wasn’t about to improve my day…I watched an interview that included a clip of a former FB exec was talking about how the entire platform was built upon the biochemical addiction to the quick fix for information. They tested for it, and intentionally developed with that in mind. The attention span of most people will not improve as a result…
Make them unable to focus and addicted I think was the underlying message…
